We arrived late due to transportation problems. We were put in a very small room that we could hardly fit our luggage into. However, when we requested a new room the next morning, the staff arranged it for us promptly, and the room was completely satisfactory.

The building was beautiful and well maintained. It was located on a busy square that was full of life from morning until night, but the thick walls and courtyard layout provided a calm and restful atmosphere.

There is no Wi-Fi. There’s a network with the hotel’s name on it, but it does not work.

The hotel is charming and very well located. Everything is clean and the staff were helpful.

When I arrived they had an unexperienced staff person who had no language skills and did not know what was going on. That seemed to just be the way it is there. There was a fellow in the restaurant who had lived in California for years who was very helpful, and a very nice person.

Right by the market. Quiet. Great colonial building and courtyard was nice. Restaurant on site. Comfortable room. Help with the parking, which was about 100 meters away. Right on the little square.

It is beautiful but it’s beauty is deceiving, I am unable to work and take care of clients. There is no internet and there is no hot water. I can not even say it’s warm. Waited hours to have the hotel address the problem. They did not even offer anything to make up for the stay!

Having to walk three flights of stairs but it was worth it.

We loved that the hotel was conveniently located. We could walk everywhere. We were there for a wedding and walked to church. We loved the outdoor patio. We spent so much time there just relaxing. We are planning to go back and will definitely stay here again.

They tried to give us a room that was not like the one we reserved in booking. Our reservation had a garden view; this one had a view to some dark stairs. Our reservation showed new, clean, comfy furniture; this one had dirty, scratched, old furniture. This other room had a really bad odor, like a sewer. The WC was un-flushed! And to get to this room, we had to go to the very far corner of the old building going up the dark stairs (no lights). We asked for another room, and they told us that this was the one we reserved, which of course was not, and that it was the only room left. We were tired, and just wanted to sleep. But the smell was so bad we couldn't stay, so we asked for a chance to cancel the reservation. They said they (magically) had another room but they would have to charge us because that one had two beds (just like the one we reserved!). At the end, they agreed to give us the new room with a view to the garden, but the tv did not work at all. Of course I called (twice) maintenance to come and check but they never came. The staff was so rude with us... Politely rude, you know what I mean. Also, they do not have free parking. We love Patzcuaro, we hated this Hotel.

It was all fantastic and would return.

Breakfast was just good. Nice to be able to buy coffee at the hotel in the morning. Great private covered parking but wasn't expecting to pay $50.p daily. Music at the hotel Saturday night was a great idea and a super group.

Despite the staff being friendly we had to ask several times for our toilet to be fixed. It wasn’t until we ran into the property manager that this was handled. The rooms are beautiful but the noice carries in from everywhere, if you like a quite night sleep this may not be the best place to stay
