The setup in the main living area is a bit clunky and not the most comfortable. It is not that we did not like this but it can be improved.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially when we needed to get a Dr. to check on a sick family member. Each day after they asked how my child was doing. The location is great with a short walk to street vendors and some of the best beaches anywhere.

No elevator! Hauling lots of bags up 3 flights is no bueno.

Great location; very nice apartments, attached restaurant, The Mayan, was excellent. The property is close to everything but far enough to be quiet.

I didn’t like the on-site construction from morning to 5pm and would be nice if the rooms had blackening curtains. Office staff could have been more friendly and courteous.

Closeness to the beach , lovely green garden , easy to get to. The pool was nice and the covered lounge chair area was a great place to relax. The pool hours were perfect. I liked the 24hr security on the property.

The hotel was wonderful! We had a beautiful view of the beach and pool. The room was gorgeous and we had everything we needed and more. The staff were amazing and so friendly.

Beach club could improve a lot. *Hotel is right on the beach but during our stay nobody cleaned the sargassum that accumulated on the beach. *Staff, unfortunately I don't have the names but the person that was in charge of providing lounge chairs the afternoon of Aug 27-28 was very rude. I asked for 3 chairs right before 5pm to enjoy the afternoon and sunset and he told me it was too late but grumbling provided 2 of the chairs and left (we had to get the other chair). *I had read in the reviews about people putting towels on lounge chairs to block other hotel guest from using them. This is sadly true. I started walking on the beach early in the morning and about 9 am the chair are already "taken" even though nobody is using them. Management should stop this ridiculous practice.

This hotel is about 10 mins walk from the ferry terminal. Going to the hotel we were charged 100 MXN and on the way back 200 MXN. Facilities are really good, pool was very clean and water was warm. Rooms are nicely kept, small kitchen with basic utensils, loved the little porch with view to the pool and ocean. Local market and main street are less than 10 mins walk. Staff at the reception was kind and helpful, he let us kept our luggage there after check out for a couple hours while we had lunch.

The bar and restaurant were fairly expensive and the staff at the bar are very demanding and ask for additional tips. The food at the restaurant is pretty mediocre, apart from the very tasty bacon and cheese loaded french fries. The decor of room could be updated and the sofa in the sitting room was uncomfortable.

I loved the location which was right on the wonderful North Beach. The hotel provides free beach towels and beach chairs and umbrellas. There is a nice sized pool too. The staff were working hard and always cleaning and taking care of the garden and surrounding areas. The rooms were very roomy and the beds comfortable. The toilets worked and there was no problem with plumbing or drainage.

Almost nothing. We received a frosty welcome from the gentleman behind the counter and he wasn't as polite as the other counter staff which was a shame, but overall it was still a wonderful stay.

Everything. A genuinely wonderful hotel with amazing staff, lovely touches and great location. I have stayed on Isla a few times and this was one of the best places to stay - especially for a family.

The view of the ocean is blocked by all the trees. The boats take over the beach area. Restaurant/bar was a little overpriced. Need more lightening for the walk down the dirt road to the condos.

The condos were big with nice ac. Drinking water provided in each room. The pool was perfect temperature.

We stayed in Condo 2 on the ground floor. The location was perfect overlooking the pool and beyond that the beach. The Mayan Beach Club was right next door and food and drink could be purchased from there. The property is a short walk to restaurants and shops. The property had everything we needed. Sadly we only stayed one night but felt this would be the perfect base for a longer stay.
