Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe room was dated and the beds not so comfy however I booked this fully aware it was a 3star and therefore think it was value for what I paid. Only other call out it wound be nice if they opened the communal kitchen earlier then 9am.

United States of AmericaCould not get the TV to work for us, but, we spoke very little Spanish anyway. It took about 5 to 10 minutes for hot water but you are in a vintage hotel so get over it. Elderly BEWARE. We were on the 3rd floor with NO ELEVATORS, again, you are paying for a vintage hotel experience.
I loved the historic feel of the room. Cobblestone streets. Gated, early Rustic Mexicana. Bathrooms added at a later date. Convenience: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! Not a Hilton or even Holiday Inn. Just a clean room, comfortable bed, and beautiful courtyard in the Romantica Zone. Pool was small but on the 3rd floor. Great breakfast restaurant attached. Beach only 2 blocks away. Walk the Malecon seawall, fabulous sculptures. Will return!

IrelandI would have liked a fridge in the room. It was only after checking out I saw the option to hire a mini fridge, but it shd be in the room in this day and age.
Location fantastic. Spotlessly clean and always cleaning the hotel. Great restaurant attached. Nice staff.

CanadaVery noisy from the outside even though we were on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, we were in a corner room (315) so we got the noise from two busy streets (and restaurants). Quite flat pillows. Sink somewhat slow. Showerhead sprinkling in all directions. Not enough chairs in the room. Only one fridge in the community kitchen, which is not enough for all tourists and cleaning staff.
Good vibes, very nice artistic touches. A lot of greenery and flowers. Clean. Helpful staff. Close to the beach and Malecon. Clean pool.

CanadaThe TV was small and hard to see from the bed. The bathroom was tight and the room felt somewhat cramped. There frequently was an annoying humming sound that appeared to come from the power lines??
We found the area noisy but convenient for restaurants and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place appeared to be well maintained for its age. We liked the easy access to drinking water. The pool area was inviting and the atmosphere was welcoming. The a/c was great and there was lots of hot water.

United States of AmericaOur room was on the street side and it was a bit noisy, but it was still a nice room. Pool was less luxurious than the photos showed.
Location is in the heart of activity, the Romantic District. Easy to find and walk to good restaurants and the malecon. It had a very attractive inner court and multiple stories with great views.

Our room was upgraded to a larger one at our request and cost. Brighter and roomier.

United States of AmericaSome of the furniture could use updating, at least in my room, and the location (locked room at lobby) and size (bread loaf) of the safes aren’t good.
Hotel Pasada de Roger is a somewhat secret gem in Zona Romantica. Located in the middle of RZ, charming with a boutique look, sizably cheaper than competitors in its class and locale, and kept clean.
