Hungary:( It is not the Hotel's fault. It is the town's fault: I travelled with rental car -> After my arrival to the hotel I spent the first couple of hours by searching for coins for the parking machine. Since I was from Europe I could not download the parking app to my phone due to local restrictions, the parking machines did not accept bank cards, so the only solution was inserting coins. You do not believe it but there was no peso coins available in Playa del Carmen at all, because all the coins were inserted in the parking machines already and the shops did not have enough coins to change you coins. All the shops declined to change me coins. So I spent the majority of my stay in Playa del Carmen by hunting for coins. I always needed to buy some small stuff to get back some coins. Cherry on the cake, you could pay only for six hours for the parking. After 6 hours you had to insert coins again to make sure you have valid parking ticket. If you travel with rental car you have to consider this headache when choosing your hotel.

Czech RepublicThe street parking in PdC is only possible to pay with coins and the reception staff was unable to exchange me bills for coins. I would expect them to be prepared for this. They sort of force you to use parking places which are more expensive.
Location, value and the premises were great! There is also an amazing restaurant right across the street (La Vagabunda).

HungaryNot much natural light, and parking is a bit problem, as you have to pay 10am-10pm, only with coins, and maximum duration is 6 hours, so for a full day program around, it is a bit tricky.
Absolute central location, it is literally on the 5th Avenida. Nice big room, kind receptionist

AustraliaWe woke up in the morning and noticed all our clothes felt dump due the high humidity in that building/ hotel which was not ideal. Our room was at level 1 near the reception and could constantly Hear the noise of the guests coming in & out through the door and dealing with the reception.
The staff was very helpful at all time. The location is great, right in the middle of 5th ave but you get some noise till late. ( better to avoid getting a room in the ground level close to the reception since you hear everything and everyone who walks in & out. The breakfast is served next door at the Italian restaurant which is owned by the same person. Breakfast includes coffee, Oj, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, toast, jam & butter….. very nice with great service. You’ll receive a 30% discount voucher if you choose to dine at the Italian restaurant at any time and we did it and enjoyed the dinners very much. There are great wood fire pizzas and pastas. The hotel provides a filtered water which is great since you can not use tap water in Mexico.

United States of AmericaWhen we checked in, they told us that breakfast coupons for a nearby restaurant would be ready at 7. In the morning, they told us they hadn't gotten there yet and they hope they would be there by 7:30. Why couldn't they have them the night before ready?
Check-in was easy. Was amazingly quiet for where it was located. Got a great last minute price. Was clean. Shower was nice. Own air conditioning that you can control. The ambiance inside is peaceful and nice.

ItalyThe room was a bit dark, you have a window but you always need lights on inside, a bit of humidity in the room. They offer you the possibility to take a shower in a common bathroom after your check-out but this space needs improvement, as it is small and dirty.

United KingdomThe 'garden view' is actually the internal courtyard of the hotel, which forces you to keep the only window in the room closed, to avoid being seen from the outside. This means there is no natural light in the room. Bathroom is dated, and has no surface to place your toiletries. Soap dispensers are like the wall-mounted, plastic ones from public toilets. Overall not what I was expecting from what should supposedly be a four-star hotel.
Very centrally located but still quiet enough at night. Staff very cordial and helpful. Breakfast is only coffee, juice, fruits and some yoghurt/granola to share. But you get 30% off the restaurant menu which has some great egg dishes.
