The beach is quite stoney when you make your way into the water. If you want to go into town, a transfer is about 40USD, because the lodge is 10km from Vilanculos center. In case you don't have a car the remote location might be a bit inconvenient.

The lodge has got fantastic chefs who cook delicious and fresh food. The pool is clean and very spacious. The staff is super friendly trying their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The beach is quiet without vendors.

The rooms where a little dark, but otherwise we had a fantastic time.

The Accomodation was great, the location is excellent, the chef changes the menu daily and it was awesome, but most of all the Staff are exceptional!

Pool towels were scare, but when you asked they appeared within 10 min. Air conditioner required fingers in amongst the electronic boards controlling system but once you knew the trick ok.

Location. The balcony’s of waterfront bungalows were comfortable. The food in restaurant good. Lots of places to chill down near the waterfront.

the road to the resort is a 15 minute deep sand track out of town you would need a 4x4 do not follow google maps but contact the owner she will guide you ( its actually a very easy route if you know it)

a nice boutique resort on the beach opposite of the Bazaruto archipelago nice owner who took time to help us plan some daytrips and tells you about Mozambique the neighbor of the resort ,Steve, does day tours on a private boat to the islands, these were outstanding and a must do you are in the middle of nature and on the bay the food was great

Villas do Indico in Vilanculos, Mozambique, exceeded all expectations. The welcoming staff, delectable cuisine, and outstanding rooms made our stay exceptional. The boat trip to Santa Carolina Island with Ninon and Steve was the highlight. Steve, an excellent skipper, led us to dolphins and turtles, and the snorkeling experience showcased a diverse range of fish. Lunch on the rocks with an ocean view was unforgettable. Steve's expertise and commitment ensured our comfort throughout. I highly recommend the boat trip with Ninon and Steve – an adventure worth every moment! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It would be lovely if water was placed in the rooms daily and if there was shampoo available We unfortunately arrived without our luggage and we were hot and needed a shower. There was soap but no shampoo. Also if a kettle was put in each room would be a bonus The staff were amazing to arrange hot water when needed. The TV unfortunately had no english channels. These are just observations.

The breakfast was fair. I had enquired if gluten free was accommodated and replied yes but sadly there was no gluten free options. The coffee served was way too strong but the cuppuccinos were superb. The dinners were excellent. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the rooms

Food and drinks are somewhat expensive and since you are far from town, you don’t really have other options. The dive center doesn’t really seem to exist, so you are better off going into town and diving with Odyssey.

Secluded location with a nice pool, spacious bungalows, and a decent restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Transfers to town are $20 each way.

Beautiful place. Staff were super attentive and very nice. Food was fantastic. When I was choosing a hotel, one thing I wanted the most was the proximity to a diving centre, so it made our life so easy to have it right inside. The diving centre staff were wonderful !

Huts exists of 2 rooms and the insonorisation between rooms is poor. Almost if like you are in the same room.

Fantastic location at the beach. Very nice swimming pool, great huts (rooms). Super friendly staff. A worthwhile stop to enjoy a piece of paradise.

The resort was a bit out of town via a sand road which needs a high clearance vehicle preferably 4 x 4 though a 4 x 2 can traverse the terrain but with slight difficulty

Thank you so much for this warm and beautiful stay in a very lovely lodge, peaceful, secure, clean and royal mosquito nets... wonderful view, delicious food, incredible swimming pool., authentic african rooms, nicely decorated !!! And even a concert around the braï ... Ana Paula is the soul of the lodge, ressourceful, friendly and with a large smile :) I will certainely come back !

The lodge is in front of the ocean but far from the village/beaches, you really need a jeep here otherwise you are isolated (off road route to reach the lodge). Rooms are nice but need to be renovated and improved. Connection is really bad and wifi is available in common area only.

The lodge is beautifully located in front of the ocean, and the 2 miles reef is an easy ride. The staff is very nice, they do their best to offer their guests a positive experience. Breakfast can be improved while the restaurant serves very good food.

Property is well located, with fantastic views and easy access to the various islands. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The restaurant is fantastic, with every meal being a treat. Not to mention the cocktails! Every member of staff is attentive and kind. No request is too much to ask. Clara and Anwel are excellent in the respective roles and treated us with nothing but kindness. They are a pleasure to be around.

The place is about 30 mins by car outside of Vilanculos and in case you would like to go to town for shopping or evening activity you have to consider the journey and the quality of the road. Prices in the restaurant and for the extras are elevated compared to the good quality hotels in town, but explained by the distance. The Internet is not working and coverage by mobile network is limited to Vodacom (Movitel is not available). Unfortunately, the boat that is taking visitors to the islands of Bazaruto, Benguerra and Magaruque was broken on the day we wanted to take the trip.

Villas do Indico is a wonderful hide out directly on the beach. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The accomodation is simple but in good quality, the missing TV was not missed and the shower is a surplus! The garden and the equipment is well maintained and the restaurant of very good quality. 4x4 is a must to reach and that makes the place special.
