Best surf hostel in Popoyo. Great energy, focus on community (surf tours, family dinners, music, games nights) and amazing facilities (rooms, bar, infinity pool). Comfortable and clean. Rooms have A/C.Staff and owners very friendly and sociable. 20min walk from Popoyo main break / 15mins from Beginners Bay

Only thing i didn’t like about the property was the fact it didn’t serve food after breakfast.

Comfortable, clean, modern, great set up, dorm rooms were well equipped, pool was perfect, breakfast and coffee were great.

Honestly the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in! The amazing interior design, the comfy rooms & the outside chilling area - everything is perfect and incredible clean 24/7. The staff & owners are suuuper friendly with a big family vibe. You basically feel like home - TUKASA. 🫶🏼 Would 100% recommend to stay here!

Tukasa was of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in. The volunteers were so nice, and everything was so clean and comfortable! You could tell the hostel was intentionally built because there were many thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it above and beyond.

The AC schedule. If you go to sleep before the AC works, it is a Little hard because it is to hot in Popoyo. Another Suggestion is to have more options for Breakfast (maybe charging extra)

The facilites. It is new, good distribution. Pretty nice and the owners really concerned at the service of the guest, specially Bastian and Nicolas. Good location in the main street between Santana and begginers bay. I wont forget when we take the turtles to the sea! 😍🐢

Nothing, it was perfect

Honestly, it’s one of the best places I have stayed around all my travels. The place is gorgeous, everyone is friendly, you feel at home. Between the amazing deco, and the sunset at the pool, the breakfast etc. Everything was perfect. Cannot recommend more this place !

Maybe some options for an afternoonsnack/poolfood or anything would be great! The staff was nice but felt a bit that they weren’t really in the mood to help out with things like how to get there, renting a scooter (another couple helped us with this) or give tips about where to go for food.

This place is really beautiful! It’s supertrendy and has an very relaxing ambiance. It got style and great mix of a luxerious hotelroom and the vibe of a cozy hostel. Lot’s of spots to hang out and a lovely pool for some refreshment in the heat. Also the clean and super new private room with great bed were perfect for some rest after long surfsesh. The outdoor shower is the best! The breakfast was nice as well!

The hostel staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to make your stay memorable. As a solo female traveler, I found this place safe and welcoming. The hostel's design is stunning, the dormitories are impeccable, and privacy is respected. Additionally, its ideal location just a 2-minute walk from the ocean and 5 minutes from the fantastic surf spot at Santana Beach makes it a perfect choice. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nicaragua.

Super warm welcome by the whole team, dorm super clean, bed super comfortable, breakfast super tasty.. everything super ahaha The whole vibe is amazing you really feel like living in a big villa with new friends Talking about surf : Super close to some surf spot, you can rent board directly in Tukasa I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Nicaragua !!

Thanks for an amazing 3 days at Tukasa. I came under the recommendation of some girlfriends who had a blast there and was not disappointed. Incredibly friendly and hands-on staff, beautiful facility and met fun and kind people. The vibe is super welcoming and it felt like everyone was a big family including the owners who spend much of their time on-site. Highly recommend you stay here when in Popoyo

The owners were lovely, but I think they could empower their support staff a to be able to handle a bit more when they’re not around.

Unfortunately our room was not cleaned during our stay. We left the room key at the reception/ bar during the day - but probably we should have asked for it more explicitly. Tukasa is a really nice place for „youngsters“ - you can easily connect with others and have a good time. Due to the dorms there is always something going on and therefore the pool, bar and chill areas are well filled and most of the time rather busy then relaxing. The volume is also always present until the evening.

The design of this property is really nice. The colors, plants and rooms look really good. The staff was nice as well. At the pool you have a nice view into the green fields of popoyo and can enjoy the sundown light. The joint areas were always clean. The WiFi connection was good.
