The room was spacious and i got an upgrade. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean and hot water was available. The WiFi was fast. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Kathmandu since it is quiet and calm.

The staff is very kind and willing to help anytime, the room was comfy and the hotel is perfectly located near Thamel but without the noise! You also have a garden to enjoy a cool drink after visiting around. I recommend 💯🫶🏼

Fantastic hotel. They helped us arrange our flights, change them when we were unwell, looked after our bags on multiple occasions, and linked us with an excellent local trekking company, who arranged our Three Passes trek. Great breakfast too, and many lovely garden and balcony areas to relax. Highly recommend to all - you would struggle to find better value for money.

Literally nothing

This is literally one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff is SO NICE. I was sick for over a week while I was here and every morning, I was asked how I was doing. I think I had them send food up to my room a dozen times because I was too sick to leave my bed. Even though I was traveling solo, I felt like I had kind people looking out for me. I'm convinced you won't find service like this anywhere else in Kathmandu. This is the only place I'll stay when I come back. Also, the beds are very comfy and the rooms are spacious and super clean. Thank you so much for making my stay so comfortable!!

Excellent location in Thames, down a quite side street so away from excessive noise Staff could not do enough for us and were always very helpful and polite. Even opened up for Breakfast half an hour earlier just for me when I had to leave for airport Nice garden area for a drink and relax

I genuinely could not fault this hotel. It was great value for money, so friendly, so quiet yet so close to the busy streets.

This place was super, from the beginning right to the end. Puspa [the boss] went out of his way, along with the rest of the staff, to make you feel welcome. Every guest was welcomed so warmly and you were made feel at home.The location is so perfect, just off the main road but so quiet, so peaceful. As you sit in the garden you could not imagine you were so close to the centre of the action. I had a mishap while I was there and Puspa went over and beyond in helping me to get things sorted. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Thanks again Puspa!

We had a very pleasant stay. Location is very good, in the heart of Thamel, close to the vibrant streets full of small local stores. Quiet and safe neighbourhood, comfortable room, nice breakfast. And last but not least, very friendly and helpful staff!

There were stains in the bed sheet and the bathroom curtain has mold. The staff is not always honest with the price. When I did my own research I would find out the price would be much less.

Perfectly placed to visit the iconic sights of Kathmandu. Located in a nice and quiet area with a lovely garden. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. (Satellite TV meant I could watch sport in the evening.) Will visit again!!

The fact I can't live here all my life lol seriously for what we payed I can't fault a thing.

This place is excellent. It over exceeded my expectations. Everything from the staff to the food were superb. We pre booked the hotel before we arrived and as you'll be aware with this can lead to the unknown of quality within the hotel. Upon our arrival we were greeted with massive smiles and big vibrant personalities from front of house to back of house nothing was a problem. From the first instance I knew this place was wonderful and for the price I thought this can't be true.... Bit it simple was. We stayed here while we sorting ourselves out for our trek to EBC but low and behold they sorted all that for as well, which ran seamlessly. I work within hospitality at a very exclusive hotel and all I can say is the service we received here trumps the standard of my hotel, I never heard the word no come out anyone's mouth, if you wanted something you simply got it, no Hassel. The rooms were spacious and clean, while the garden space was relaxing and tranquil, Binod the hotel manger was very helpful and experienced and the location for the hotel was just outside the busy area of thamel but still within a 5 minute walk for the busy at Streets of Katmandu, giving you the peace to sleep comfortably but the access to live life of you choose. We are away to India for a period but come back to Katmandu to fly home, we will be staying here again upon our arrival back, massive 10 out of 10 thank you Blue Horizon Hotel, you made our trip.
