Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

All good
All very modern, a kitchenette was very helpful, even with a little dishwasher and a washing machine we did not use. Close to the train station, the city center and within walking distance to the Victoria lookout.

‘Sofa’ in lounge area is ugly, uncomfortable and not suitable for 2 people to sit in comfort. It’s like a office seat. No separate chair although there is plenty of room for one. Could not comfortably relax in the room unless we lay on bed- not ok for a suite but more like a studio in this respect. Not worth extra money.

Very loud; our room was right next to the elevator and it sounded like a bowling ball rolling down the stairs, every time someone used it (2 15 am the first night and 4am on the last night; in the dead of night, it woke us both up and could hear other guests being woken up). The CBD itself is very loud; lots of shouting, fighting, trucks etc but that's not the fault of the hotel, although, there was also a streetlamp that shone straight in all of the windows, all night. More than that though, we could hear every footstep, shower, toilet visit and cough of every nearby guest, all day and night; rooms need soundproofing. Also, the beds were a bit too firm.
Close to the conference in the CBD, easy to find, very friendly staff and great to have a kitchen, washer/drier etc instead of the minimal facilities in a standard hotel room. Secure parking for our car was a plus and very close to our room for loading/unloading.

The parking situation and having to deal with moving bags between different buildings. Parking was ok, but somewhat convoluted. Having to use two different elevators through different doors and going outside in between buildings to get to the room from parking was not appreciated. Plus, the buildings are on different levels of a steeply angled street.
Great location in the center of the city. Easy walk to various restaurants, etc. Great room. Loved the separate bedroom and balcony.

Coffee pods didn't fit the machine.and the tea selection is odd. Previous occupants bath mat was hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Living room furniture is a bit tired but was still comfortable

My wife thought bed was a bit soft. Car park was handy but expensive and access is quite busy.

Very confusing when we first arrived as weren’t given instructions on how to get from the parking garage into the main building. Think the security was a bit over the top.

The lifts were a little slow and unresponsive at times when called.
I can’t fault this property, the apartment was spacious and clean at an excellent price.
