Pictures on booking.com showed air-conditioning in the room style we booked but ours only had a plug in fan. If you are planning to walk from the accom to town it's a little walk but coming home is all up hill and steep for a part.

Apartment was big, comfortable and had really great views. On top of this, you also get a private parking spot for your car which is hard to come by in Queenstown.

Everything was perfect. A warning to those without transport - it is a steep walk to Highview Apartments but not an issue for the fit.

View excellent (but must book room with a view). Room great with ample room. All facilities in good working order.

Apartments are uphill, which would’ve been ok but it was really hot when I stayed. Didn’t love up and down the hill each day but the shortcut through the Qhotel helped .

We chose to stay here for the half marathon and spend the money on the accommodation but for future travel we probably wouldn't spend that much....even though it was amazing!

The view was amazing! The apartment was the nicest we've stayed in and the bath was a great bonus, especially after running the half marathon!

Stayed 3 nights. After making booking we were informed that room would not be serviced "due to current staffing levels, however if you do require fresh towels, contact reception" Reception hours 8.30am-5pm daily. Our room not serviced at all during our stay. Night before checkout, received email "as you are checking out tomorrow, to AVOID AN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE we kindly ask you to assist the housekeepers by removing all your rubbish to the colour coded bins at the back of the undercover car parks. Load the dishwasher & pop it on, all used towels to be placed in the bath" This was never advised prior to checking in. There was warning about drinking the local tap water. A notice placed on the kitchen bench advised of this & the fact that they had boiled the jug for us to use the water (how do we know if this was done if there is such a shortage of staff ?) Surely they could have provided a couple of bottles of fresh water ? The above & also the additional charge for a security company to let you back in if you accidently lock yourself out of your room outside reception hours, are a little hard to equate to a facility of this calibre. The parking is free, however is a lucky dip if you can get a suitable place. The unit was wonderful, the view magnificent, but the above points I found petty & penny pinching. For the price paid & the self promotion of the facility, this was disappointing.

The unit was as described, very comfortable, clean & tidy ,facilities great & the view spectacular. The gas fire of an evening, whilst enjoying the view & a glass of excellent local pinot noir, just added to a wonderful comfortable evening. The road walking down to centre of town, great not so great coming back up ! Very steep.

It's up on the hill, a bit of a climb walking from the city centre - pretty good view from up there, though.
