The host went above and beyond and really thought of everything. Her garden is stunning, making you want to spend the whole vacation there! Everything in the house was clean and modern.

Very little not to like! No sea views Suggestion, rather than criticism: given that lots of people staying there are (like us) going to a wedding, perhaps a full length mirror would be very helpful?

Found the water pump a little noisy but not a major.

Lovely to be picked up from the ferry and given a personal tour. Gardens at the property were lovely. Location was close to town but still peaceful and private. Beautifully decored room, quality was excellent.Host was excellent and so thoughtful.

Having to say goodbye!

La Casita is a fabulous place to stay and exceeded all our expectations. The location is absolutely perfect - you are only a few minutes walk through the little park to the buzzing village of Oneroa, whilst staying in a tranquil oasis where you can relax and take time to just ‘be’ in the beautiful garden. Karen is the absolute perfect host and loveliest person. She picked us up and dropped us at the port, and even waited for us at the supermarket so we could stock up on food and wine. Her communication was brilliant before and during our stay; and she was incredibly helpful with tips for our adventures in New Zealand. Fresh coffee, tea and milk were all provided as well as the basics for us to cook with - oil, salt pepper etc. The apartment had everything we could have asked for including beach towels, mat and umbrella. There are lots of outdoor spaces to relax in, and the apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. We could not have asked for a better start to our stay in New Zealand - thank you so much Karen

Karen was a better than perfect host going above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. The accommodation was fantastic and we felt very at home. Would love to stay again next time we go to Waiheke Island.

Karen was an absolute star. After needing to postpone our trip due to illness she refunded our missed day without any asking and made new arrangements for picking up the key. The garden was absolutely beautiful, though the outdoor living area needed a bit of a dust off and a sweep. The bed was super comfy and it was a fabulous huge shower! Milk in the fridge for us to have teas which was a lovely touch. Iron was provided but no ironing board which made ironing our wedding outfits a bit trickier. But overall, an awesome staty!

Didn’t like being under the main house.

There was no breakfast provided. Only a small bottle of milk. I found it hard to contact the host Karen as no contact number or email was provided. The new bathroom was good.

I would highly recommend staying here. Comfy room with everything you need, and a great location being only a short walk from town. The outlook over the garden is very peaceful. Karen was a fantastic host! She picked us up from the ferry and gave us a quick tour around town so we could get our bearings, then kindly offered to drop us in town so we could make our dinner reservation after a long day of travel. Throughout our stay she gave us useful tips for the island and was always available to answer any questions we had. We will certainly stay here again when we visit again.

What a place. Karen was the perfect host and made our stay a real pleasure, even running us into town for dinner when it was raining and saving us a short walk. La Casita is a beautiful place to stay and really well located for Oneroa, beaches, walks and vineyards.

the location is brilliant, 6 or 7 minute walk to Oneroa village. The grounds are spacious and the accommodation is modern, clean and comfortable. There are several spaces for outdoor living. Karen was the host with the most, nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again.
