Would have been helpful to have instructions on how to work certain things such as the TV (couldn’t get it work so went without which was actually great!) Had to google the oven operation as well but got there in the end . Would have also been helpful to have a few more basic kitchen staples but not a major .

Perfect 2 night getaway for us in a remote but beautiful part of the Central Otago region. Quiet and peaceful .Comfy bed and good shower pressure. Great to be able to switch off. Bring everything you need as really too far to go back if you forget the milk!

The Isolation of the property way out of town but a long way to go if you forgot anything.

Due to its location and no cellphone service, I would recommend that that wifi router be set to have a "guest" connection that does not require a password so email and whatsapp can be used to communicate on site prior to getting in. We didn't receive the door code from Booking.com before we got there (not the host's fault), and needed to contact the host, but had to drive back 15 minutes to where we had cell reception to call.

Fantastic location if you like to be away from it all (which we did). completely private, wonderful view of the mountains, and the house is great. Beds are comfy, and the living room/dining room are great for gathering and relaxing. Relaxing in the hot-tub watching the stars was wonderful.

We had a hard time finding the property. When we stopped to inquire at the small airport nearby, they gave us advice to look for large hedges on the left and then immediately after, the property would be on the left with a sign. The main slider in the the community room did not open during our stay. It was locked shut for some reason

We loved the separate wing that we had from the other guests and the location of the house. We enjoyed spending the night on the farm and the serenity of the location

No milk for hot drinks. Good job we brought milk. Shower was smelly as if not used for some time. Bed frame was dusty. Disappointed to find these negatives when it was quite expensive.

We could have felt quite uncomfortable had it been necessary to share kitchen, dining and living room with strangers. Of course this may have been wonderful, with the right people; and of course there was no compulsion to risk it if we didn’t want to. The tariff stretched the friendship. I would have found it much more acceptable if there had been an invitation to fish the river on the property; or walk the nearby hills, under whatever instruction might have been deemed necessary. Especially as there was little else one could do there other than by car.

An exceptional property offering a unique view from its quiet, rural setting of Matukituki station, Matukituki river and Mount Aspiring, but with close-enough proximity to Wanaka (40 min drive). The hot tub was an absolute delight - morning, noon, afternoon or in the evening under the stars. A well-designed common space with dining area and lounge with very comfortable sofas to relax into by the fire (not that we needed one - thanks to the sun warming the lounge during the day (our stay was in early September)). Kitchen, laundry and bathrooms with all you needed for a stay. The bedrooms were of a good size, with great views and very comfortable beds! The host is very welcoming and super helpful.

Not clean enough, many dead insect in the bathroom but didn’t wipe away. Heater in the hallway is not working. Not a big issue but can be better.

The location is awesome, private n only surrounded by the mountain n animals. The view is absolutely breathtaking. I love the way to check in n check out. Stress free.

No mobile phone net in the area. This is a problem we encountered many places in the south island.

It is very easy to get key: the owner/manager send us the check-in information during the day of our arrival. The house is clean, specious. The view to the mountain and field is great. The wireless works fine, which is important because there is no mobile net coverage in the area. The kitchen is well stocked. It is so quiet. We have thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there.

Difficulty finding it as map was off by several klms, but assistance had us arrive eventually. Confusing to find items in kitchen and could have had a better clean.

Beautiful location and views. Perhaps a few nights needed to really take advantage of the views, as overnight for a small group seemed out of way a little inconvenient. overall was a nice stay

Not a huge deal as I had read it an earlier review, the hot water system was noisy. Probably made worst because of how tranquil and quite the property was.

Everything was amazing. To have the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful home in a spectacular location was not taken for granted. Top it off with a spa amongst the most incredible starry filled sky and you have Matukituki magic.

Some issues around the spa temperature was a bit of a problem for the first 2 nights but was the cleaners not leaving it covered to heat up the water. for the last 2 days was amazing. Get food drinks everything you need for the the night your an hour away from Wanaka

house is middle of nowhere in-between farms. was snowing got snowed in. I would never go with a normal car there you need a 4x wheel drive SUV type in winter unsure how it is in summer. But don't risk it with a simple hatchback or sedane. I had a Nissan Xtrail and I was worried with all the snow. House is modern and spacious you have a lot of rooms bathrooms and spa.

Lovely home. Bit weird with the locked doors. Took us a while to get the bedroom doors unlocked. I suspect they were newly cut keys

Beautiful home. Great people to deal with. Very comfortable. Lovely fireplace. Nice having the spa, wish it was hotter thou. However 38% is probably enough for most. Exceptional views.
