Beautiful location very cute cottage

Nothing really. We loved everything.

This little spot is just a brilliant location, and sitting in the jacuzzi looking over the bay despite the blustery wind was just so surreal, definitely the highlight of our north island holiday. The cottage is also beautifully appointed.

Everything!!! Location, food, wine, the cottage was wonderful. Hot tub, extras, comfort, just glorious and opulent. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

The only thing I will add here is, transport from the cottage back to the ferry terminal. We didn't know how to book a taxi. We walked with our suitcases in the rain to the restaurant, thinking we could get a coffee and sadly found that it was closed. Unfortunately, we waited for the taxi in the rain.

The cottage was so beautiful and quaint. I loved the breathtaking views that surrounded us. Even though it was very cold, the cottage was lovely and warm. Thank you to hosts for the bottle of champagne that was in fridge. It certainly went down well.

Beautiful cottage, wonderfully decorated and made. Beautiful location, with easy and convenient check in/out. The restaurant was delicious and decadent, with fantastic efficient staff, I would highly recommend this stay!

Only problem was that the front door was difficult to lock and we considered going to dinner with the door left unlocked. That ight there was a robbery nearby, so good job we did manage to lock the door.

Location, with views across to Auckland, was very special. The facilities in the cottage were first class. Staying in the cottage made our trip memorable. Bubbles on arrival and breakfast delivered to cottage - very enjoyable

The location was unbelievable, one of the most beautiful places I think I have ever stayed. The staff were also excellent and so accommodating of our early check in request. The cottage itself couldn't have been more perfect. The shower was also great.

Saying beautiful view is an understatment, this felt like an amazing little hideaway to escape to, we felt so calm and relaxed staying here. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit and muesli on a beautiful sunny morning was a highlight. The spa was amazing on a calm night

There was a stagnant water smell when we opened the dishwasher. I think they should be checked after the winter break but that was the only thing we didn’t like.

with the money that was spent for one night, it would’ve been nice to have a hot breakfast served instead a cold one delivered the night before. since the restaurant is right next door one would think that would be more convenient. would’ve loved to light up the fireplace but there were no matches anywhere to be found. the heat pump did very little to warm up the cottage. overall a lovely first experience in Waihiki

Being met by a host or having a visit from a host soon after advised arrival time would have been a nice gesture. Apart from service staff delivering breakfast we saw no management or host. A luxury stay is very reliant on a Host. We know, we provide luxury accommodation ourselves. Eggs provided for breakfast seemed strange as no cooking facilities except microwave. Only found out when we took the eggs home thinking they were hard boiled that we discovered them uncooked. No idea what we were supposed to do with them for breakfast.

Walking back from venue alone in the dark across carpark and up to cottage. Bed a little too soft for my comfort (but totally a personal comfort - not a problem for anyone wanting to sink deep into slumber) The grumpy guy who couldn't manage a smile or a "have a great day" when I asked him if the shop was open when I was leaving. Lucky I didn't listen to him as I ended up spending a scary few hundred on some pretty good vinos!

Amazing location, close to function. Welcome started the day before with an informative text message from Audrey and then great communication to answer questions. Stunning, clean and both Audrey and the wonderful 'surprise' gardener very pleasant and helpful. Loved the charm of old decor and having a blue tooth speaker on hand and ready to play my music. Breakfast placed ready for morning, the night before. Fresh flowers, stunning views. Bathroom so stunning with a shower that almost gave me a couple of piercings, the water pressure was so good :) Loved the bottle of bubbles and water in the fridge ready to enjoy.

It was a dream. Loved everything. Only downside was internet not working due to provider issues but it was a blessing to be disconnected to admire the cottage and the amazing views.
