Kitchen and fridge a bit small for family cooking (just two hob element) in the disability unit. We managed for our 3 nights but had to adapt our cooking plans as no oven.

When I first arrived on the Sunday afternoon there was some loud music coming from, I think a residential accommodation next door. It only,lasted a couple of hours, after that it was very quiet.

Location by the beach. Spacious and very clean. Had all the amenities needed for a two night stay if not longer. V close to the centre of Opononi which is a small delightful place , as a very good cafe which is then a very good thai restaurant in the evening. Local supermarket too. Close to the Kouto boulders worth a visit.

The view from sitting outside our room was our parked vehicle and the parking lot. I thought a little overpriced based on our stays throughout New Zealand with the same amenities.

It was very clean and comfortable and quiet location. They provided us with beach towels upon request and an adapter as we left ours behind at our last location.

It was a bit warm as there was no air conditioning. Not a huge deal, but most lodgings have this these days.

Nice hosts, clean accommodations. Right across the street from the beach, though no beach view for most, if any of the rooms. There are several eating establishments and stores within walking distance, which is nice.

After our arrival from Waiheke (whole day journey) we dined at Opononi Hotel, which was FUN as well as having great food. We enjoyed our breakfast at the cafe next to iSite very much and then we headed off to visit the highly recommended Manea Footprints of Kupe centre - this was amazing for me, a Kiwi pākehā, who has, over time, been introduced to multiple versions of the origins of Māori, the various gods and personas involved involved in the origin, departure, journey and ultimate arrival of people who have become to be known as Māori. For some people it may be challenging to understand however I would sincerely encourage people to open their minds to the amazing maritime navigation and seafaring abilities of Māōri ancestors (tupuna).

Having to leave and not being able to stay an extra night due to being fully booked that weekend 😍 We will defiantly back and we will be booking a few nights well in advance. . Right across the road from the beach, amazing view in the evening and morning. Perfect location. Very clean, tidy and loved the simple decor especially the art work including the down to the cushions. Would love to know the brand of the queen mattress especially the two (2x) stretcher beds too as they we’re the most comfortable of all.

We had a standard queen room which was a decent size with fridge and microwave but no kitchen (which we knew). A small washing up station was provided which was great but a little tricky to use in the space.

Lovely and clean, close to the beach, free parking onsite, very comfortable bed, very friendly staff, great undercover clothes drying area, beautiful gardens. Lovely BBQ area (although we didn’t use it). Lovely little veranda to sit out on which felt pretty private.
