Wonderful location to enjoy the stars at night and close to Mt. Cook for a morning hike. This unique stay in an airport hanger with rooms gave us a comfortable, quiet, stay.

Spacious, clean room with a great view. Mary was very accommodating, friendly, helpful and had great information about the area. It was peaceful, quiet and the stargazing was awesome. One of our favorite places we stayed while visiting New Zealand.

Quirky location on Pukaki airfield. Large room with every little detail catered for. Comfortable seating in room and on terrace. Very comfortable super king sized bed. Lovely toiletries including make up remover and body moisturiser in bathroom. Access to fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor seating space with view of Mt Cook. Very confortable guest lounge.Great choice at breakfast. Mary was a great host.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I knew what to expect, and even then the hotel exceeded those expectations. I was made to feel welcome and at home during my stay.

It's a bit out of town (Twizel is 3km away), but if you're into peace and quiet, and dark skies, this means it is perfect. If you want a lot of things to do on your doorstep, it might not be the right place for you.

Everything. We were surprised and amazed at what was on offer. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, modern clean bathroom, huge well equipped kitchen with breakfast provided. The view was to die for.

The location was just amazing! To finish our journey on an airfield was not what we expected, but it was just wonderful. Mary was so welcoming and helpful, and the view of the night sky was fabulous - don’t need to pay a fortune to go to an observatory … it’s right here at Pukaki!

Wonderful stay at Pukaki Air Lodge. Very comfortable and great views from every window. Well equipped to a very high standard, spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Mary gave us a warm welcome and was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Air Lodge to anyone.

WiFi was very weak.

We loved the unique setting! It was fun to watch small planes come in. Our room was huge, and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful—toast, fruit, yogurt, eggs. This was a great place to stay for our visit to Mount Cook National Park.

It www superb in comfort & spacious facilities …a huge kitchen that you could cook up meals & a huge lounge area as well …quiet location only 2 km from Twizel & 55 km from Mt Cook. I wish I could stay another night as it was brilliant
