We loved the view from the cottage and being able to get close to the animals (and even hand feed them 🙂). The pot belly fire was an extra bonus as were the fresh eggs for breakfast. The taxi service was also an added bonus - very quick and reliable.

While we really enjoyed our stay, just felt it missed the mark a little for the price. Reading previous reviews we were a little underwhelmed by breakfast (definitely not enough provided for 3 nights) and while the lovely host said we should ask for more, we were just enjoying the time to ourselves so didn’t bother. Outside bath would have been nicer if there had been robes to use? Probably just being picky but at $450 a night it’s definitely up there with expensive hotels!

Location was beautiful with surrounding vineyards. The Woolshed has lovely character. Would highly recommend. Fresh eggs for breakfast was great. Could have stayed longer as we only had 2 nights there.

That we had to leave!

We loved everything. A beautiful peaceful location surrounded by vineyards. Woke to the sound of the birds, sheep and the sun rising over the vineyard. A beautiful cottage, cosy and intimate with everything you need for a perfect stay. The pot bellied stove keeps you fabulously warm. Natashya and Jonathan are perfect hosts.

Exceptionally comfortable and adjacent to the most wonderful and fascinating animals. The breakfast provided was fresh and a big bonus. Marlborough Wine Tours will pick up from here.

The noisy refrigerator- it was very hot, but the temperature inside overnight was very pleasant- but the fridge kept switching on for 50% of the time.

Views, privacy, views, cleanliness, ability to self cater, location for vineyards and back to the coast. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts.

Having to leave, it was our favourite place we stayed in a 3 week tour of New Zealand

What a fab place, a lovely cottage on a vineyard stocked with lots of local produced goodies for breakfast, with farm animals to feed, a hot tub to soak in and being in the heart of wine country, and not forgetting the friendly hosts we truly wish we had more than 2 nights here.

We had a very memorable stay in the "Stable". The complimentary in-room country breakfast was perfect. Viewing the lemon trees and farm animals just outside our window were a treat during mealtime.

I liked everything, can not fault it

Charming and beautifully presented. Pool, tennis court and animals kept us busy. Breakfast provided was also a nice touch.

This was a perfect stay in a beautiful cottage with amazing views, surrounded by friendly animals, orchards and vines. So relaxing and great hospitality. We were also able to enjoy the pool in the hot weather.

The yard and animals, the orange we picked from the trees, the beautiful trees and flowers all around. And above all, from every window of the cottage, the view is like picture.

Fantastic location near the wineries but just outside of Blenheim town. We stayed in the Cottage which was a large space, very comfortable and scenic looking onto the vines of the property next door. Loved feeding the sheep living on the property and meeting the chickens and alpacas! Great outdoor spa for use and overall very relaxing place to stay.
