My fault I should have ordered a bigger room. Our room was lovely other than that.

The sweeky bathroom door, when you open and close it. Not a lot of space in the bathrrom Inconsiderate people slamming their room doors Kids on our level were very nosie, locking each other out of their rooms and banging hard on the doors, kids yelling up the corridor. The aircon pad on the wall detaches from the wall when you use it.

Smorgasbord was below par plenty of food but the only carved meat was ham the rest of the meals were casaroles or were in sauces We observed a large bowl of oysters being tipped on top of exciting oysters landing upside down and consequently the oysters were drained of their natural juices

Although check out was 10.00 and we arrived late at the hotel I think 6.30pm the breakfast area was closed at 9.00am

Price was so cheap but facilities were excellent. Very clean, all the lovely little extras in the room you don’t get in a motel. Best accommodation and price that we had for our North Island roadie.

The mattress is too soft, and so is the pillow. I am not used to sleeping on it.

The hotel environment and location are good, and there are free bicycles to ride.

Not that biggie but with the cleanliness, not very thorough. We had to move the bed because we needed to take a family photo in the center, then saw used plastic drinking container under the bed. Parking was really hard that weekend.

We got to stay without kids this time around so we ended up in a room above reception. The layout of the room was horrible. The bed placement needs to be changed because there wasn’t much room between the bed and the wall to get to the bathroom. You had to squeeze between the wall and bottom of the bed.

We love staying here with the kids. We always choose this hotel.

Had stayed here early 1990's. The improvements made have been to the benefit of your patrons, great PR. Room was comfortable with the spa and shower attached, Staff at reception very helpful and kind. Dining in the main dining area was very delicious and filling. Staff smiling and making us welcome.

Booked room with 2 double beds (for comfortable sleep of the family of 4) but on arrival we got "upgraded" to a room with 1 double, 1 single and 1 not very comfortable trundel bed. Also, booking.com says the hotel has a fitness room, but there is no fitness room in the hotel.

Nice clean new room. Good coffee and selection of tea in the room. AC in the room. Overall, we had a nice stay, thank you.

Extremely disappointed with the internet connectivity. When complained to front dest was told to connect to Devon extension. (already there), thus connection dropped out frequently, so much do that any effort to continue on our devices was impossible. This problem became mute on our last night when the internet failed in mid-evening and remained so until after we had checked out. This spoiled our stay completely. .

No table d'hôte-set menu option. No after hours menu room service. No reserved parking for house guest. Limited dedicated spaces for house guests to meet mingle and enjoy each other's company stories and experiences.

Little pricy but as far as I understood, this is all around NZ.

Room, bar and location were perfect. First time I also used TV which was smart device. Nice outdoor pool.
