Instantly relaxing. Beautiful, peaceful outlook. The cabin is small and thoughtfully decorated. Shower is a stand out, great shower head that you don’t want to leave.

The unit was open for us when we arrived and our hosts met us shortly after. They were very helpful offering recommendations and it was a pleasure just talking to them. The location and grounds were beautiful and we loved the unit itself. It was very clean and comfortable and very tastefully done and decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed using our own private hot tub on the patio and looking at the stars as we relaxed. We slept with the glass door open part of the night and enjoyed the feeling of being part of nature. The outdoor shower was hot and the beds were very comfortable. It just added to the beauty of Wanaka for us. We would love to return again and were just sad that we didn't have more time to enjoy such a well done little retreat.

Nothing we didn’t like! Just remember there is no TV, we had our laptop so just watched something on there if we needed. And in terms of kitchen facilities there is a microwave, jug and toaster. So if you were staying longer than 2 nights might get a little tough if you wanted to cook, but we just drove into town each night for dinner so no problem for us :)

Wow! This was the highlight of our NZ trip! All your log cabin dreams come true here. A cosy romantic escape and feels like you have a little piece of NZ to yourself! (But just a 15 min drive to town so easy access to all the fun!) The jacuzzi was a highlight sitting in there watching the stars. The outdoor shower is incredible! And if you feel the cold like me don’t worry they have a little heater in the inside toilet so you can run in there to dry off in the warm. Also fun that’s it’s on a farm - we got to see a sheep being born in one of the paddocks, and there are goats, deer and horses. Nice and warm in the bedroom, bed is super comfy, and loved the fresh nut selection to try!

Secluded, romantic location with beautiful view over farmland looking out to the snow covered mountains. Well furnished and styled. Hosts were very friendly and contactable at any time. Access to amenities including a microwave and fridge. Close driving distance to Wanaka and Albert town

The only thing would be, as city kids we were not used to leaving doors unlocked, however the option for a key was there which helped and once we spent the first part of the night there we were completely fine.

It was adorable, we loved the spa and watched the sunset inside on the first night. The dimming lights were perfect to read under before going to bed, as we both enjoy a wind down and prefer not to have bright lights before bed. The note was amazing and helped so much when finding places to go

Would have been nice to have an extra set of towels for the hot tube but in no way let this stop you from staying here. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Would highly highly highly recommend.

The location and view from the cabin was stunning! We loved hearing the animals around the property. And really, really loved the hot tub!

What to do on arrival wasn't 100% clear

The cabin was beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Loved the hot tub and star gazing at night! Very private and good location for exploring around Wanaka

It was the perfect hideaway near Wanaka - your own quiet and isolated cabin for yourself away from the crowds and away from pretty much anyone else on earth. The property was relaxing and very comfortable. You could see the entire galaxy around you as there was no light pollution to bother us. We would recommend anyone who needs to just unplug and get away.

I would have liked an additional towel to used for the spa separate to the shower. But that’s only a minor thing.
