We had a short but very nice stay in Christchurch. The B&B is located in a very nice area not far from the city center. The room was not too big but very cozy. Vicki is a really kind host and made us feel like home.

A little far from the City Centre, but Ubers were cheap to get there and avoided the cost of parking.

Vicki was a very welcoming host and shared her time with us generously. Breakfast was good and the bed comfortable. Vietnamese restaurant within walking distance was excellent.

Nothing - very relaxing end to my holiday.

Beautiful home and relaxing garden to sit in after long travels. Lovely host who goes out of her way to welcome guests and share her home. Lovely room with ensuite- bed ultra comfortable and shower nice and hot with good flow. Toiletries provided. Excellent breakfast, presented beautifully. Great location -close to bus top to get into town and several places nearby to eat, with hosts recommendations.

Nice little B&B close to the airport. Actually didn’t meet the host, but the room and the breakfast provided was clean, comfy and delicious. Also very late checkin wasn‘t any issue.

It is relatively far from the centre, more than an hour walk (or 15 mins drive if you have a car) and in the neighbourhood there is not that much. We really didn’t mind though, as we just stayed here for a transit.

Such a lovely place! Vicki and her daughter are extremely welcoming and nice to talk to, we felt right at home. The bed is very comfortable and it is just a 15 mins drive from the airport. We hope to stay here again some time!

When we stayed it was 32°C in Christchurch, when we arrived at the B&B our room was in the direct sunlight so was absolutely boiling! There was a fan in the room, but obviously no A/C, so we really struggled to cool the room down to be able to comfortably sleep. 95% of the year this wouldn’t be an issue, it was just we were there on one of the hottest days of the year!! The room is effectively just a bedroom in her house, rather than what you would think of a typical B&B, initially it was strange going into her house on our own (while she was out so left the key for us) but it was absolutely fine, if she was in it probably wouldn’t have seemed unusual. But all in all it was no problem. We weren’t looking for anything fancy, just somewhere to sleep before going to the airport. So do recommend. We had our own key and the room was secure. It’s almost just like staying with a friend or an aunty or something!

Vicki’s place is lovely. Bed was comfortable, shower and bathroom were great. Breakfast was lovely in the morning. Vicki is very sweet and lovely to chat to.

Vicki gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and we immediately felt at home. She made us a cup of tea and chatted to us as she prepared a meal for friends. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we were welcome to use the kitchen any time we wanted to. We liked the location , which was in a quiet suburb, but also in easy reach of shops and restaurants. It was also just 15 minutes or so from the airport. Vicki was a lovely host, and nothing was too much trouble. She really made us feel welcome and we highly recommend staying at Heart of Fendalton B & B. You won't be disappointed.

Everything basically, undisturbed area, friendly host, more than adaquate heating options(very important for Chch winter especially if you are not from a cold area), safe parking spot, amazing breakfast options. What else can you expect? : D

A beautiful house maintained by an equally beautiful host-Vikky, made us feel at home. Very comfortable room with a garden view. We would have loved to spend more time and enjoy the company of the host. Highly recommended and value for money.
