Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe pool area was well (over) staffed and pleasant but clunky with ordering and payment. The lady in the spa was not a great communicator but the massage my wife received was good. The wait for concierge was long but the service was very good as they assisted with the hotel museum visit, transport to Robinsons and the airport. The business centre printed three sheets of paper for $5 where the prior resort on Panglao printed the same for free. It’s a small thing but noted.
The rooms, whilst classic (understood) were outdated and the fixtures and fittings old, particularly the bathrooms. Furniture was dated without being antique and the view of the function marquee was disappointing. Aircon was loud and the necessity of housekeeping to disturb at inconvenient times to deliver chocolates was not necessary. Tap bar was a great experience but the live music level was too high for an intimate space. The food was fair at best and I will single out the the Niçoise salad I received was the lowlight of my Philippines holiday. The presence of a pharmacist conference was disappointing as they took up every chair and table in the lobby’s, restaurant and bar and gave the feel of a motel or function centre where my understanding was the hotel sought the feel and ambience of classicism. This being said, the near constant cycle of weddings, school formals and events made the experience exhausting with activity without the feel of relaxation and that private guests were in the same ‘churn’ . I completely understand the necessity of the financial return required to run a hotel of this size however, that’s not the image that is being presented of a luxury hotel in a major Asian capital. Just my opinion.

SwedenClassical elegance, especially in the lobby. Comfortable room. Extraordinary breakfast with cooking stations for Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Halal, Italian and British food with close to 20 chefs working. Great if you want to start the day with a Korean spicy blood cow sausage, but less good if you want a cheese sandwich. Nice gym and pool.

GermanyA landmark in Manila. A building with a history to tell. I opted for a room in the 'old' building - and i was right : the room was spacious, with a view to Rizal Park and the entrance driveway. Buffet Breakfast is spectacular ! Starting by 6 am. With a large variety of pinoy, chinese, korean, american and european food. The pool is good. With 3 segregated areas for kids, non-swimmers and swimmers. With a bar integrated. The gym is well equipped, and has a locker room with shower. Can also be used for pool users. Security is excellent. Luggage wil be x-rayed upon checkin. Guards and dogs at the entrance and exit.

PhilippinesBreakfast is not at par with other hotels around the Metro. It's such a hassle to line up for food and be served by a few staff behind plastic barriers. Almost all of the hotels kept up with the times and removed the barriers already, this facilitated the easy access and increased the overall ambiance and breakfast experience.
Room is well kept and clean. We love the overall ambiance of the hotel.

PhilippinesThe Wifi was not good, signal fluctuated specially at night. Food at the tent city where we had the event wasn't really good.
The rooms were spacious and the staff were courteous. Check in and check out were fast. Buffet breakfast was ok. Though how it was served (behind a glass and server gives you the food) was a bit restrictive.

GuamThe king size bed in the suite was incredibly uncomfortable. I would have expected a softer mattress at this level of hotel.

PhilippinesNot a fan of the glass surrounds to the food serving stations in the Cafe Ilang-Ilang. The pre-covid open style made food access easier and food displays more appealing.
The leisure centre has been refurbished and the new sauna and steam rooms are working well although the jacuzzi has gone.

GermanyUs personally did not like the breakfast that much. Although we like that portions are served from the buffet instead of self service it had a canteen feeling. Feeding the masses instead of a relaxing quiet breakfast. For our taste most food (especially cooked ones) were to oily. For us as europeans most common areas like lobby, bar, restaurant were too cold, so take a scarf or shirt with you.
Beautiful hotel in walking proximity to the old town of Manila. The service is excellent and staff very friendly. The rooms are spacious and have all the comfort you can ask for. The bar has excellent drinks and life music.
