The location is very good, close to historical center. For short stay, the room is ok. The staff members are very kind. I loved the internal small garden.

United Kingdom37 Reviews4 helpful votesPleasantI booked a room with a courtyard view, a balcony, and a safedeposit box, because I requested a double bed , if available, they give me a room 109 at the front without a balcony, courtyard view & safe-deposit box, at the front of the building, it was Friday & Saturday night I stopped, from 2am untill 6am you could here people returning from bars restaurants and clubs, you would have thought the people were talking in your room because the noise was that loud. I was not given the room I booked. Instead, they moved me to a room I did not book, substandard room , I asked for the room I had booked, Answer we can not as the hotel is fully booked, if they could not supply the room I paid for ( courtyard view ) with a double bed they should have given me a courtyard view room with a twin, Not a noisy double bed room which I did not book

United Kingdom28 Reviews“Stay in Faro”The breakfast was basic a bread roll with butter cheese and jam and Brioche coffee in paper cup. The gentlemen doing the breakfast was friendly. There was nothing wrong with it but we are use to a choice.
The room and Shower good and the staff friendly especially the elderly Lady. Was within 10 minute walk to railway station and bus station with a few left and right turns OK once you got your bearings. We ate twice at the Aqua Ria and the food was excellent. We also ate at the demo and the food was excellent there as well.

It was within walking distance of everything. Beside 2 churches Church of St Peter and Church of senhora do Carmo both worth a visit. Also 10mins from the Port
