Rooms are spacious, comfortable beds. Kitchenette is there but we didn’t use it… there is a nice coffee/ pastry shop 100m from the flat, and lots of restaurants on the doorstep. Gui was very nice and recommended things to do around.

Very nice place to stay in the very heart of the city of Funchal. Bars, coffee shops and restaurant 2 mins walking, first floor but still a lot of light. The small patio is very useful and charming. Few minutes walking from the ocean. The check in was very easy to organize and Guilherme is a very helpful and available person.

Great apartment for two couples or a family in the perfect location in the old town. Restaurants on the doorstep and a short walk to the sea and tourist attractions. Loved the view over the square. Comfortable beds (two singles pushed together). Our host Sarah very helpful and friendly.

There was an ant infestation in the kitchen, we'd had similar in other locations we've stayed on this trip - but they included the black ant box catchers (I don't know their name) and also some ant spray - maybe include this too. We never really had enough hot water for three of us, not sure there is much you can do about this though. It was a bit chilly, so maybe some electric heaters for a cold evening.

Sarah met us at the apartment, also arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport. As well as helping us up the stairs with our bags. The apartment was in a fantastic location right in the heart of the old town and a hop skip from some fantastic restaurants of which all were recommended by Sarah. Very comfy beds. Spacious apartment. All in all we loved it, the support staff, the location - just wonderful. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect accommodation for someone who prefer to be in the middle of things. This is a real center of Funchal, restaurants, bars, coffees, everything behind the corner. The owner is a really nice and empathetic lady.

Loved absolutely everything, Sara was extremely helpful she met us and showed us around the apartment which couldn’t have been in a better location plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, the apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, she even organised a driver to take us to the valley of the nuns, we had an issue waiting for the results of a covid test to travel home and she rang the hospital for us, nothing was too much trouble I would have no hesitation recommending this place and will definitely return.

Not a problem for us - but it does get hot and a bit noisy at night. So best suited for adults or family with older teenagers rather than small children.

I think my co-travellers would appreciated the aircondition, for me the temperature was ok. We used to stay during our travels in the apartments so if I can compare it to our previous stay, I would suggest for this apartment more decoration and personal touch, I personally didn´t like the "empty" walls. Our stay was for 8 days so I would add also more of basic essentials for guests (toilet paper for example).

The location in the city center in the Santa Maria Rua was superb. We like to be surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. The live music was only to 10 pm, so there was no disturbment from outside. The flat was big and we appreciated 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We liked our balcony towards the small square. In the kitchen your have everything you may need.

We were there at February, although we had one portable heater but We were constantly cold in the apartment. The first shower was Unbearable because We couldn't finish one normal shower, the hot water keeps fading although we were told that the hot water tank can support 6 showers. Apparantly after checking, The hot water volume wasn't turned to its maximum, so mind this before you shower. After the first day our other showers we're great. Some sinks were clogged but not a huge problem. You just have a sense that everything was pretty worn in the apartment. Last but not least, All of their beds are single bed put together

Sarah was very easy to communicate,kind and helpful. Wifi was super fast. In the center close to everything.

Although generally the apartment was good, their were some issues. There were 4 of us but only 3 wine glasses. The towels were thin and rough with only 1 towel each to last the week Their is an infestation of very small ants.

The location is excellent, and the layout, having 2 bathrooms was very good
