A wonderful and quiet location where you can explore the Porto to Pinhao (car or train), Amarante/Braga areas. The freshly renovated building sits high on the hill overlooking the town with spectacular views. Everything was provided, including some refreshments. Isabel and Jorge were excellent hosts.

Really enjoyed the modern decor and high-end materials, cleanliness, and greeting with a bottle of wine, provisions for the next morning..and touring suggestions. Also enjoyed the view overlooking town.

Everything was perfect!

This apartment and our hosts were simply sensational! The whole presentation of the apartment was first class and the view over Cinfaes was extraordinary. Our hosts ensured that we had everything we needed - including many generous treats. Their friendliness was remarkable. We look forward to returning.

Casa da Zefinha is a lovely little house and our 2 bedroom flat was beautifully furnished, extremely clean and very comfortable. Isabel and her husband met us on arrival and were very friendly and welcoming. The house is located on a hill looking onto the town and has wonderful views but is also within a few minutes' walk from the centre of town.

Absolutely everything about this accommodation was perfect. The apartment is well located with stunning views. It is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and has every comfort, including blankets, comfortable bed and pillows, etc. The wonderful host, Isabel, is so kind and helpful, and she even arranged some food in the fridge for us in case we were hungry when we arrived, as well as traditional biscuits and water. From the embroidered pillows to the toiletries in the bathroom, she has thought of every detail. We were so sad to leave, having travelled Europe on trips of 2 to 5 months at a time, this was the best accommodation we have ever found.

This was a great apartment, and one of our favorites on our trip, but this apartment had the hardest beds of our entire vacation. Most portuguese beds have been firm on our month long trip, but these were VERY firm. You should also know this house is on a very steep hill, with two way traffic, but only space for 1 car, so getting in and out can be a little bit challenging. If you've been comfortable driving around the rest of portugal, you should be fine, but if you're not comfortable driving in portugal, this could be more difficult to navigate.

This was an absolutely fantastic apartment. It was very clean, and spacious. The bathroom was spacious, and there was great water pressure, with unlimited hot water. The house has a great view over the valley, and the town of cinfaes (Not the river though). The internet was excellent (fiber), and was at least 50mbps up/down, with 3ms latency. Our MEO sim card had excellent mobile phone reception here. The shutters on the windows were very good, and provided near total darkness for sleeping. We used the cooking facilities, which worked well, and all the basics plus some were provided (we used frying pan, cooking utensils, cutting boards, knives, seasonings, oil, plates, bowls, cups, etc). The hosts were friendly and helpful. They recommended we eat at the restaurant down the hill (Amados), where we had several excellent meals, and felt like we made a friend with Miguel (the owner).

the house is excellent, fully equipped and practically brand new! the city of Cinfaes is really nice and very close to a lot of the activity that the Doro area has to offer.
