Check in is chaotic. Advertises a reception but only in name only, reception desk is there but in full week we did not see any one on reception. Room access is not easy.... As the accommodation advertises a reception I simply printed out the payment details and confirmation booking page from this site. BUT you will need access codes to access the accommodation from the street and another to access your room. I did not make a note of these as missed the email. Thus on arrival trying to obtain access details from the Spanish cleaner that spoke no English led to problems. Also 2 other bookings had the same problem and led to us being woken up at 2am ish with guest having to bang on the front door to gain access. Due to no staff on site any idiot guests who are partying at 4am have no one to 'keep the peace' Only happened once but not great.... but to note most guests are couples and not so disrespectful to cause such problems. Air conditioning was a problem as could not get to work... we booked for April thus no big deal but in the hight of summer, no air con would be a problem. Room Safe would not work... did email the management on the first day but got no reply in the 7 days of being there. Bit awkward if you are carrying cash , as we did, for the full use of the holiday.

Location... side of Sir Henry's if you are unsure as not clear on advertt. Roof top pool... very nice. Only small but for size of property it was fine. Price of stay... was very good value.

There was a green security light in the bedroom that we couldn't seem to turn off. We could hear the noise from the square with the windows open but you could cancel that out by closing them and using the Aircon.

The facilities were great - a lovely peaceful terrace with a pool and sun beds, where you could have breakfast. Good shower, kettle in the room. Very close to a busy square so a convenient location. We parked about 5 mins walk away and went down some steps. Check in was easy using key codes. Overall a brilliant stay.

Had to walk to the Casa Malpique as no car drives there , very disappointed about that. Very loud noise thru out the as very closed to the busy bars,music , seems to catering g to young crowd . My second night I heard people singing up to 3 am even having ears plugs on.

Having the room next to the apartment door meant I was called upon 7 times to let people in who had forgotten their (short) door codes.

The room and bathroom were a good size and very clean. Breakfast enjoyable.. It has a pool too!

Perfect location next to the old town square but behind a building to keep the worst noise away. There are stairs to climb and no lift. No TV which was surprising. There is no reception, check-in/-out are automatic, so also no one to ask for advice or help. The breakfast hostesses were truly friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good with toast, pastries, cereals, youghurt, omelette and great coffee.

The accommodation is not very sound proof & you can hear neighbours in the upstairs rooms. Location is good but music from nearby bars can be heard at night, although generally stopped by 12. The breakfast area by the pool is lovely but doesn't catch the sun first thing making it quite cool, so would recommend a covering, although staff did put on the heater & provide a blanket when this was mentioned. Beds were a little 'lumpy' & could benefit from a new mattress.

Clean, but could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Decor was bright & had a nice "feel good factor". Staff were lovely & helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Pool area was lovely. Excellent shower. Enjoyed my stay on the whole.

Unfortunately, we couldn't use the bathroom as there was a power cut in the morning. The breakfast was nice but it was served on the rooftop and it was quite cold in January. It must be a great place to stay during summer months.

There is nothing bad about this place. I gave the staff a lower rating because we did not deal with anyone. We got a detailed e-mail that helped it self check-in, so it was not necessary to deal with staff.

The room was comfortable, and it just had a good feel to it. It was super clean. The rain shower was great. Self-check in was easy. We have stayed here before, and the place is well-maintained.

On my first morning at 7.30am, I texted the management about a warning sound going off on the alarm control panel (plus the emergency exit light suddenly lit up in my room). Someone came and switched it off at 7.45 but I could not sleep after that. I never got a response from the management, which I thought was very unresponsive. The lady who makes the breakfast is lovely, but only one egg per person is allowed for breakfast! The noise from the square might be a problem for some people - I was there in Jan/Feb and the music stopped at 11.30pm so it was OK. But really, the stay was lovely overall, and these are small issues in the scheme of things.

Brilliant location in the heart of the Old Town. Spotlessly clean. Nice room (room 4), though the reception and the stairs to the upper apartments is right outside the door, so it could be a little noisy for light sleepers. The pool area is fabulous, lovely to have breakfast in, and I'm sure it would be delightful in hot weather.
