The stairs to reach the room are difficult with the luggage, and parking was a nightmare during the weekdays; we were very lucky to get it almost in front of the hotel twice.

It is a historic place with charm and spacious rooms; we stayed in a floor room. It is well-equipped and just a 2-minute walk from Diana's Roman pillars—great Breakfast in the room for EUR 14 per person.

Magnificent, historic building. Manager went out of his way to answer our questions and even gave us a tour of the most original rooms. The courtyard was a quiet scenic spot to enjoy a welcome glass of wine. Entering the courtyard through the historic gate was a very special experience. our room was huge and very well equipped.

Joni the manager was very accommodating in letting us check in after hours. He also helped us organise a taxi transfer and organised food for us on arrival. The accommodation itself was excellent. It was spotless, comfortable and centrally located. We would highly recommend!

Community room was not available as a class was being taught. Pool (like most pools) was ice cold. Laundry was being offered at $30 plus.

Great location close to historic sites and restaurants. Charming, well preserved building with a lovely courtyard. Our apartment was very clean, lots of light and spacious. Nice modern kitchen and dining area. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bedding too. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There really weren't any drawbacks. Maybe parking situation can be a challenge if you are there when town is really crowded. We were fortunate, and parking was easy, but I can see this being an issue if you have a car. I think that would be the same for any apts around there. It's not unique to this property. It's the nature of the town. But, once parked, you can walk to any place around town very easily. Ask the host ahead of time for parking advice. She is very helpful!

The host was very kind and showed us around the apt. The space is charming and has been re-purposed to be modern, convient, comfortable, while still maintaining its historical character. It's a unique place to stay.

I did not realize that the initial room I booked had no windows. I could have managed this for a night but not for the length of time I was staying, but Joni worked hard to find a a really great solution for me. Much appreciated!

The staff very kindly changes my room to accommodate a concern I had, and also helped me with tips for transportation and setting up tours. The space I had was really lovely, met all my needs and more.

Nothing - it was really great!

The house is really beautiful, I felt like a princess in the old castle-like apartment. We had lots of space, everything was clean, check-in was very quick and easy. The staff was very friendly, and helped with parking and other tips. The location is perfect, as one steps right into the city. The courtyard and pool offered some relaxation when returning.
