This is a very nice property in an excellent and quiet location. As expected the roads in the area are very narrow and challenging. If you are driving local parking is difficult to find but we found a free parking area near by and in walking distance (Rua Bombeiros voluntarios de lagos). The apartment is within walking distance of the old town and lots of restaurants and shops in the area, The actual apartment is well maintained, comfortable and the seating area on the top floor offers a spectacular view of the entire area. Make sure to spend some time up there to relax. Dana, our host was excellent and very responsive and was also able to provide local restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed our stay and would return if we again have an opportunity.

Casa Paula was a really beautiful place to stay with a nice rooftop to chill out on. And the staff was great, particularly Dana. The elevator happened to break down while we were in it(which does not appear to be common) and Dana came and got us out right away, even at night. She really made the whole experience funny rather than stressful. Parking in those small streets is no joke, but was doable with paid lots close by if you needed/wanted one.

Perfect location, not too central meaning it wasn’t loud and busy around the apartments but it was less than 5 mins walk to the main streets of Lagos!

Great location in the old town walled city. Plenty of space and clean. The bed was very comfy. Shower worked well. Roof top terrace is wonderful. Sweeping views of the ocean and Lagos

The ocean view is from the terrace only, since it was raining it was not visible for us. The room felt a little cramped without being able to use the terraces. The drain in shower was very slow draining - had to stop the shower multiple times for it to drain.

The check in person was super nice and friendly. I appreciated her helping me back out the car with lots of encouragament (up the hill with manual transmission ;) )

The shower didn’t drain properly, and the doors didn’t close tight enough-so we had water to clean up a few times as it overflowed.

Excellent location - minutes walk to restaurants and shops but in a very quiet neighbourhood. Could be at the closest beach in 10 minutes. View from our apartment was very nice. We loved starting our day with coffee on our deck or on one of the rooftop decks looking out at the ocean, watching boats move in and out of the marina. Our apartment (apartment #9) had 2 decks-1 with ocean view and the other more private with sun loungers. The two rooftop decks were available to all guests, as was the pool with sun loungers. Dana was so welcoming and friendly. We loved chatting with her and was a great resource for restaurants etc. She is a hard worker who adds the special little touches ❤️ Communication through booking.com was very good prior to our arrival.

There was nothing we didn't like, parking was a bit of a nuisance, can't park outside the apartment (we found out by being shouted at by a very grumpy neighbour 🤣), and general parking outside of the old city walls is very limited.

The weather could have been more accommodating. It was cloudy with periodic rain in an area of Portugal that boast 300 days of sunshine per year. But not a single complaint about Casa Paula.

Dana was extremely friendly and accommodating. The place was gorgeous and you could see all the way down to the beach. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean. Great stay in a great location.

Location was very good and the accommodations were more than comfortable. It is close to the main area of Lagos near.by the waterfront. I would definitely stay again.If the opportunity arose.

The lodging is very modern and we selected a room that had an outside seating area attached to the room. There is also a comfortable rooftop seating area that is a common space for the apartment guests that provides a nice view of the area. There was a host on-site that was helpful with our questions. The area is quiet so we experienced no noise or safety concerns. Walkable distance from many restaurants and shopping options.

The room we stayed in was quite small, but was modern, clean and more than comfortable for our 4 night stay. A really comfortable bed and nice shower. The bedroom opens out onto a nice balcony with a great view of the town and across to the beach. The communal top balcony has even better views. Loved staying here and was made to feel really welcome by Dana.

Install a ‘pea trap’ in the kitchen sink drain.

Arrival and check in. Dana is a wonderful host. Location is excellent. The bed is comfortable and facilities well maintained. Great view of the sea. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay here again and highly recommend.
