Anna and Joao are absolutely wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. Their accommodation is very unique with lots of character. It was very clean and well organized.

All was great!!

One of the best places I stayed ever!!the feeling was like sleeping and dining in a palace. The special in this place not just that all were perfect, including the room and the parking. We got also a lot of "bonuses" which did our experience much better. As we came with a small kid, having toys in the dining room helped us on breakfast. Having a coffee machine of Nespresso , was great to have additional coffee before starting traveling. And the breakfast (which was with additional payment ) was with a lot of variety and very generous! I would like to thank Joao for great hospitality and feeling like home. We very enjoyed it and will definitely come again!!!

A wonderful preserved building with a perfect location 1 meter in front of the entrance to the wall. Generous hospitality of the owners in a most interesting house full of art works and royal furniture. There's also a garden with lemon & orange trees and nice views. The breakfast was excellent with vegetables, fruits and homemade curds and pastel de nata. There's a small parking lot in front of the house and an excellent restaurant 1 min. walk.

Our host. João was very hospitable. The property was a lovely place with many antiquities, just like a living museum, and it was very well situated on the outer wall of Obidos, right by one of the entrances. It was so easy to get in and out of Obidos without having to drive into the narrow streets of Obidos.

I liked that I could park beside the home which as adjacent to a gate to the walled town. John treated us with great care and made sure we were well looked after. Good modern bathroom. Good AC and heat. Comfortable bed. We paid 9 Euro each extra for a great breakfast in the large historic dining room.

The house was ideally located for a visit of Obidor. We have had a great welcome by the host and he made a very nice breakfast with homemade jam and cake.

The room was perhaps a little dim. Otherwise excellent.

Casa Picva is a wonderful historic building right under the old-city walls, and with small, pretty, garden with view. The owner is rightfully proud of his heritage and was most interesting regarding the artefacts within the building. The breakfast was amazing. We arrived early but this seemed to cause no problem, and the room was most comfortable.

Stunning property just beside the wall around Obidos with a special access to the Main Street. Beautiful furniture and art..it felt like we were staying in a museum! The hosts made a special Easter breakfast with traditional food. Beautiful bedrooms and comfortable beds.

Nothing, it was outstanding

This is a gem! Outstanding location just outside one of the gates into the old town with parking at the door. The property is stunning with period furniture and decor, a lovely yard with views and cozy, spacious, impeccably clean rooms. The breakfast was amazing with homemade preserves and orange juice squeezed from fruit picked in the garden that morning. The host is very attentive and happy to talk about the history of the property as well as give suggestions for restaurants and activities outside Obidos. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others!

Joao and Ana have a beautiful home, one side next to the city wall and easy access inside, and the other looking out beyond the town, with a cute backyard in which to relax. Our room was large, comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. In fact, the entire home has history in its furniture and decorations with stories behind much of it that Joao was gracious to share. It was particularly enjoyable chatting with Joao about the history and the area, and he gave us excellent ideas on things to see in the area. We fully recommend Casa Picva.
