The location of the apartment is the perfect one: 20 minutes from a metro station (Santa Apollonia) and 10 minutes from tram (number 28), plus 15 minutes from Graca. You just need to remember that Lisbon is located on hills and you mostly walk up to the hills including a walk from a metro station to apartment :-) Next to the apartment is a small, very pleasant park (open all the time, with some music during some evenings - but not very disturbing), there are also 2 very nice coffe/breakfast places 2 minutes walk and 2 restaurants, plus 2 mini- markets in walking distance (where you can buy anything most needed), not mention Graca place where there are more restaurants and wonderful confectionary place. The host - Maria - is a very nice and very helpful person! Great contact before and during our stay. The apartment is located with the house from 1920 and it's on the 1 floor = stairs (short but quite steep). It is comfortable, very clean and has everything you need for your stay plus brings additional charm of old Lisbon. I highly recommend this place and it's lovely owner!

If you are walking to/from the apartment be ready for some uphills:) The stairs take some getting used to but they are part of the charm. mosquito nets would be a great extra.

We loved the feeling of the home - very authentic and historic. Maria was very nice and helpful. Great morning light and tranquil park just opposite (nice cafe as well). Place has absolutely everything you could need for a family - we stayed for a week and didn’t miss a thing.

Everything was perfect. Definitely recommend and would love stay again myself the next time I am in Lisbon.

The location is very convenient to get around Lisbon and the house is exceptionally well maintained, clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is lovely with a beautiful park right in front of the apartment that gives a very homely feeling. All the things that you would require during your stay are provided by Mrs Maria, who is a wonderful host, very responsive and kind.

The door was a little difficult to open but is ok, this place is worth staying. .

Perfect location, explore the neighborhood, it has a great view.The host Maria is so nice, she took care of everything required.The metro, bus, and stop(voz operario) for tram 28 are nearby. The apartment is so calm and nice. The kitchen has everything you need to stay for some days (salt, coffee, tea, water). We would like to stay there if we come back to Lisbon.

The view at the window was beautiful. Good location - cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, buses, and metro nearby. I tried one of the restaurants that Maria recommended, and it was lovely.

Very basic kitchen but had everything we needed.

Good location and comfortable beds. It had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. It is up some steep steps so not suitable for people who have problems with stairs.

Bathroom would benefit from updating to modern standard. Hot water difficult to set and not consistant.

Location is great. Nice and quite. Great flee market on Saturday. Great host. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Maria did such a great job with this apartment. From check-in to check-out she covered everything in great detail. Extremely responsive to any questions or needs. The apartment is better than the pictures show. It’s very roomy and located across the street from a lovely park. For Lisbon, this is a great find! AND, Maria has a fan in the apartment- an almost unheard of amenity in Europe!
