Whilst the courtyard area was nice, it could have been kept a bit tidier. I would also have appreciated if the barbeque were better maintained - it would otherwise have been really nice to use.

Liked that there was no ncessary check in/out times. The rooms were cleaned and tidy. We also got a courtesy call midway through our weeklong stay with clean towels etc. The flat also had a pleasant layout and had a variety of cooking implements.

Apartment obviously hadn't been used for a while and smelt mouldy, we left windows open and it improved a bit but we both left with vicious sore throats 😢Also it would have been nice if there was coffee or water left for us. Toilet water was running permanently, shower door very fragile! No bulbs in 2 lamps. Very basic, but the location made up for it. Also through our own fault we didn't realise there was no lift to the 3rd floor. 😶

A neighbor is playing loud music from morning to night for two days in a row. Quite many mosquitoes at night, would be great if the windows are installed with some mosquito nets. Would be nice if there's more clothes hanger or drying rack for laundry.

Location is perfect for tourists, very lively street with many cafes and breakfast options. Facilities are complete and there's a huge backyard all to yourself.

Cracks on walls in bedroom, not photographed on booking.com. Shower head could do with replacing. Only 1 mirror in the apartment. Located in the. bathroom and the lighting is a bit dark. Picture had fallen down in the bedroom and not been replaced. Noisy stairwell/floorboards - noise from other apartments.

I just find it so hard to get the information on how to get in. I wish they would tell you what you need to know when you book. Otherwise we have to turn on our data which is expensive to get either What's App or we have to make an international call. The beds were hard, the pullout was hard to figure out, they finally sent someone to help. The bedroom had big windows but the blind did not work so no privacy and lit up all night. I did tell them, but no response.

The location was very central, so lots going on and close to restaurants and a short walk to the central square. We did a walking tour and that was easy enough to walk to. But then you had the noise at night until 1 a.m. in one instance. Cool apartment though, get ready for 3 flights of stairs!

General housekeeping and cleanliness could be improved to make the experience better. There was mold on the bathroom tiles around the shower area and also around the base of the sink tap. The living room, kitchen and bedroom areas were all clean. The garden area could have been tidier, lots of weeds and discarded pieces of furniture, could easily have been a tranquil haven with a little effort.

The location was great at the quieter end of the main shopping street and not far from a supermarket. We liked having our own private garden in the middle of a busy city which was relatively peaceful. The apartment is quite basic but comfortable and has everything that would generally be needed for a short or extended stay.

The neighbours were dreadful and loud but that's not on the host, and luckily I had my noise cancelling headphones with me for sleeping. It was a bit of a shame there was no hairdryer but that isn't a necessity!! Honestly it was a charming little place and we loved it.

Cute little apartment, very tidy and basic which was perfect for our needs. Shower was pressured nicely which is always a bonus. Very centrally located to Porto, short walking distance to bus stops and the metro, and the little courtyard was so lovely to have morning coffee in and read, if a little chilly due to the time of year!

Two things were broken, namely the shower rod holder and there was a tear in the bed cover. I would provide a little more light in the hall on the first floor. For me the biggest problem was the very loud music from the Barbershop below the apartment, if you stand in front of the shop you hear nothing, but you can hear it in the apartment. This was a big downer of the stay for me! A question about whether it could be a little quieter at the barbershop did not help. The music was between 10 and 10:30 at night. Undoubtedly, the music from the barbershop is no problem if you stay on the higher floors.

Clean, pleasant and beautiful large apartment on the first floor in a car-free shopping street and close to the metro station Bolhao. The in and out booking system with codes and other details were communicated on time by email or WhatsApp.

The apartment was not cleaned very well, had mould, much more worn and aged than the photos. The main issue was that it was laden with thick dust on the light fitting which caused terrible hay fever, it was unbearable to stay here. If you get hay fever or cleanliness is a priority, I can’t recommend it.

No complaints, just recommendations for improvements is to consider having a washing machine and a dishwasher.

The location was great. It was on the fourth floor (or 3rd upper floor) with no elevator but it gives us an amazing view of the Santa Catherina street. Very spacious apartment for two and was very clean when we checked in. Oh! And the team behind this apartment is very responsive to our questions and requests! Thank you!

Only some details that would bother some other people, but not us (stairs to the 3rd floor, no lift, shower cubicle - ok for us, maybe small for bigger people).

Everything was great! Communication with owners was quick and clear, they were helpful. The apartment is clean and equipped well - you have there everything you need, I can imagine to spend there whole summer :) If it has balcony, it would be perfect. But for few days it was more than ok for us. And location is perfect - not right in the center (that could be noisy in the night), but just 15-20 min walk (or 1 metro station) from Sao Bento station.
