Super clean, large room and large separate private bathroom. Great location right across the train station and all the buses to the sights but inside the room you can't hear them. Kind host and very tasty filling breakfast

If I remember correctly, we had the Green Room. The bed was very uncomfortable, it just sagged under us and the room and bed was very small, no chair in the room. There was also a lost od disturbance during the night from the floor above us, every movement sounds through the floor boards. The toilet paper was of very poor quality. The outside spaces, that is the entrance to the property and the open to air staircases were not cleaned once in the four days that we were there. Other than the bed, which is personal choice, none of the negatives should disuade.

The location is why I booked it and it did not disappoint the train and bus stops are bang opposite, making visiting the area very convenient. The toilet being outside the room was not a problem. The proprietress Maria Joao is very kind, the breakfast is very attractively presented and generous, it is usually served between 8am and 10, but on request, was gracefully given at 7.30 am. The room price is very reasonable.

Simple, clean and very well located in front of the train station. Fantastic restaurants close by. Bus 1253 and the 434 stop across the street. Breakfast was plenty to start the day.

Getting to the reception was a bit tricky, it took us a while to find it (it´s up some stairs that seem to be taking in the backyard of a restaurant/fast food).

The spaciuos rooms have their own bathrooms (you´ll get keys for your own bathroom), just that they are down the common hallway, not attached to the room. There´s also an artsy common sitting area with interesting paintings, sculptures and cultural information and objects. The place is clean and the hostess very nice, speaking good English so there will be no troulbe to communicate. The breakfast was incredible, we didn´t manage to eat it all and felft bad for the hostess who had prepared it so carefully and presented it so beautifully.

There is a little bit of noise from upstairs. Even though the place is right in front of the train station, the entrance is not very visible, specially when is dark and raining.

It is a nice apartment right in front of the train station. The space is big and comfortable. Maria Joao is a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious and very generous.

Our stay at Espaço Edla was exceptional. The friendliness of the owner truly made us feel at home, earning a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. The room was cozy and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. However, the air conditioner wasn't functioning properly, resulting in a slightly chilly room, particularly during the night. Great location in Sintra, very good restaurant nearby, super friendly atmosphere. Overall experience was fantastic, and we would highly recommend Espaço Edla to fellow travelers visiting the area

Maria João is a very kind host. Everything was superclean and tidy. It didn't bother me at all that the bathroom was separate from the bedroom. There was even a bathrobe to wear when needed. For me the location couldn't have been better. Walk away distance from city centre, in the opposite of the trainstation with some stores for food and drinks. Big supermarket is at 10-15 minutes easy walk. Highly recommend this accommodation.

The doors of the bathrooms are not inside the rooms although every room has its own bathroom. On the other hand - the rooms are grouped two by two with common corridor and sitting area so this way they represent something like an apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms which could be nice for a group of people.

The location is very good - right next to the train station and the bus station. The host is very nice and friendly.

Sintra is awesome and also a tourist magnet. We enjoyed our whole stay but morning and evenings before the tourists arrive and after they leave are the best. We are glad we stayed in Sintra rather than having a day visit and we definitely recommend Espaco Edla as a place to stay.

Lovely room and facilities. My wife has a yeast allergy so the bread heavy breakfast wasn't the best for her nor the meat given we are both veggies, BUT we knew that before we went and the hosts were very accommodating providing milk and a bowl for my wife's cereal. Thank you. Excellent cakes too. Great info about the area was provided by the host and with the train station very close a perfect location. We were not disturbed by any train noises. Bag storage was no problem at Espaco Edla, thanks. We enjoyed the buffet most days at Xentra in Sintra, excellent value.

Shower needs a matt inside to keep from slipping- this is a fall risk. Everything else was great.

Location was great- right by train station in Sintra. Keep in mind, there are many steps to climb. Breakfast was great, as was the owner and employees. Very friendly. Shower seemed to be porcelain and very slick. I slipped in the shower and cut my toe on the drain. I was very nervous every time I got in it. A anti slip grip or mat for in the shower would remedy this. Other than that, everything was great. Enjoyed our stay.

We arrived early and checked in without a problem. We had a very comfortable room with aircon, clean bathroom. Our host was very helpful and caring, even carry all my suitcases to the room. We had an exceptional breakfast at the Cafe with homemade jams, bread and tart, really good. We left our luggage to see the rest of Sintra without any problems.
