Well, like most people said it's noisy. You hear every step from the apartment above because the building is old and the floor is wooden, but if you are a sound sleeper that should not be a problem. Constant noise from a water heater safety valve in the bathroom is also a bit annoying. After all, I would book this apartment again because these issues are not much of a problem that could ruin my trip.

Artesanto - first floor - is a good, looks like recently renovated apartment. It has everything you might need for a short stay. Complementary water, coffee, tea and a small snack is a thoughtful thing especially if you are checking in late. Easy check in, good communication with the owner. The location is pretty good.

There were some small things that would have made more sense. There were lamps with no light bulbs. The door that had 1 screw out of 4, and could not be opened or moved. Not a single role of toiler paper (even when informed about it), no shampoo.

The size of the property was proper for 3 people, self-checkin was smooth. Fast response when wifi was not working.

Very simple adjustments would have scored this trip a lot higher . No mattress or pillow covers . Yuck ! Doors need adjusting as catching on floors . Kitchen drawers broken . No kettle , was assured there would be . Electric wires hanging out of walls . Needs a really good deep clean . Balcony could do with a bit of paint . All this place needs is some TLC and a handy man to finish the jobs that can be easily rectified .

Kitchen was not well equipped, we booked in order to be able to prepare some meals at home but this wasn't possible with the lack of kitchenware. The apartment was very comfortable, but didn't feel as clean as it could have been. Not enough toilet roll provided for 3 days, we needed to purchase additional.

Location was fantastic, right in the heart of Barrio Alto. Great apartment size, with good living room area.

location was perfect! easy to walk touristic areas and also very close to tram 28 and bus station. The apartment was clean, provided towels&sheets& bath soap etc. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Wifi worked well. There were fans. First time you enter the apartment there is a bad smell but after opening the windows it was fine. Overal I enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

I suggest to buy more forniture for the kitchen. There were just few dishes and glasses. Plus since the accommodation was booked for a brief period of time I would really appreciated to find soap for washing the dishes and oil/salt, instead to waste the money on them. Since my room was a kind of attic, I highly suggest to provide a fan or air conditioner.

The biggest value of this accommodation is the position. It is 20 minutes close to everything and there is a bus stop down to the main road where the accommodation is. The room is very spacious and clean in a quiet area.

Not very soundproof and it took a lot of time to heat the apartment with those two portable radiators in February (apparently this is an issue for most of Lisbon apartments). Be aware of steep staircase!

The floor was not clean enough… in addition some neighbors were a bit noisy at night and we couldn’t sleep that well.

The location was great and we had a bus station close to the apartment either. The apartment is great for 2-4 people and comfy to stay several nights.

I would have appreciated if there was body soap available in the shower, as well as shampoo. In order to make the place a little more hospitable some decent pillows would have also been helpful

Thin walls, you can hear people having coitus in the apartment above you. It wasn't cleaned particularly good, washing machine was leaking ( and we really needed to use it since it was a 7 day stay, it took 2 days for someone to come fix it ), tv remote was broken and without batteries, it was cold in the night and only 1 small electrical heating unit worked ( you are supplied with 2 for the apartment ). These are all small things that are easily fixable, it is just up to the host company to correct them ( except maybe the thin walls issue ).

Great location, really close you have busses to everywhere you need to go in Lisbon. Quiet street with no traffic. Apartment was large enough.

Cleanliness - The appt is somewhat ran down. Tiles in the bathroom are moldy, plates and glasses were dirty and oily when we checked in. We found an empty bottle of shampoo under the shower. Noise - while the street is quiet, the house itself is not, you can hear every step of your neighbors to the extent that it wakes you up at night

The appt is spacious, has a wardrobe, boxes and drawers and is good for staying a bit longer. It is located on a quiet street near the center The communication is clear and proactive, done via booking messaging

The apartment needs some proper cleaning. And the bedding sheets where not as clean, had many hairs and spots which was not very nice. Some basic amenities like oil, salt & pepper, tea were missing.

Great location, and very spacious apartment! Loved that it had the balcony :) also clear instructions on the check in. Great value for money although some improvements can be made :)
