We stayed in the Poolhouse for a week and had a lovely time.Carlos was an excellent host who ensured that our stay was comfortable and stressfree. The pool area was fantastic, and the children loved hanging out with the 2 gorgeous golden retrievers. The area is quiet but only 10 minutes by uber to the very lively Cascais. Lisbon is very accessible from here by uber or by train. The train station is about 15 minutes away by foot.The beach is approximately 15 minutes walk with some beachfront restaurants. There are small grocery shops and some lovely bakeries about 5 minutes walk away.

The only down side is that the property has a bit of a problem with the humidity and you can feel a bit of a mold smell but the owner has installed a dehumidifier and an air purifier as well.

The property owner is a very nice and helpful person.Any help we needed he was there to help. Recommend for whoever likes dogs as there are 2 super cute and smart dogs that the property .Lots of playful times 🐶

Nothing at all.

The privacy and quietness of the villa, the facilities and the host's desire to help, advise on places to eat and visit, cleanliness. Nothing was too much for Carlos who was on hand always to help if needed and advise on the best places to eat. A thoroughly relaxing stay in a quite, private and lovely small villa. The pool was wonderful to take a dip from the heat of the day surrounded by outdoor tables, chairs and loungers to relax and a very well stocked wine cellar on hand if needed with the expert wine knowledge of Carlos. Already on our list for another visit. A hidden gem!

Very nice host Carlos, helps in any situation. In Parede nice poolhouse with kitchen, pool just in front. Well equipped with everything you need including big towels. Very quiet and safe because of closed compound. Local nice beach and bars 600 m away. Parking in front of the house, railway station to go to Lisboa or Cascais 500 m. We like to come back…

Carlos is the best landlord, friendly and talkative, knowledgeable, excellent taste, excellent wine. The cabin is very comfortable and well equipped. It is very suitable for family road travel, and it is not far from the supermarket and laundromat. We all love Chica and Billy. They are really cute. If you are traveling with children, this is definitely the best choice. I look forward to staying here next time.

The best accommodation that I had throughout all my experience and the best host I’ve ever met. The location is beautiful, quiet, and super cozy. The best place to spend a couple of days enjoying nature and walking around the area. Carlos, thank you a lot for a great days in your place. "Ocean view" - nope definitely not! And more than the advertised 300m to the beach but completely walkable nonetheless.

Delightful accommodation, exceptionally clean and comfortable with the use of a lovely pool, which was an added bonus. Lovely quiet area and helpful, friendly host. Excellent wifi and good communication via WA. Lovely beach, promenade and restaurants nearby.

Carlos is a great host and very welcoming to this excellently located property for exploring the Cascais area. Great transport options locally and we got to do so much in a week. Definitely will go back again to explore more. Property is walking distance of transport links to Lisbon central and to allow you explore lots, from beautiful sandy beaches to ancient ruins. Property had everything you could need was very well presented and maintained, and Carlos was very welcoming with his friendly golden retrievers . Thanks again Carlos

The house was a bit dark and humid. The fact that there is no breakfast.

The property is super clean and comfortable. It's an independent pool house, with access to the garden and swimming pool. There are two very sweet dogs in the property, but you won't meet them if you don't want to. Carlos is a very nice host. He was a wine producer, so he gives good advices and many bottles are at your disposal at a very reasonable price. The area is well served in terms of services and nice restaurants. You can take the train from a Lisbon and walk a bit to the property, but we used the car. The beach is at 5/10 min walk.

We had a fantastic stay. Carlos is a superb host that receives and treats you as friends. We felt right at home with him and the dogs. The guesthouse had everything we needed. Had the privacy we always search with the own entrance. We sat outside every evening enjoying our dinner. Together with a lovely wine recommended and made by the host. You have your choice of wines right out your wall in the house. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, something we really appreciated after long days in Lisbon and Sintra. Which are very convenient less than half hour drive away. Happy to stay again if we are ever again around Lisbon.

When we arrived Carlos was surprised. The room was not ready. The bad was very small. No instructions and password to the internet The room was very cold at night. the room was not clean (the garbage in the bathroom from the previous guest was still there) The shower was vey very small. we try to speak with him in the morning ( before we left the room) - no answer to his doorbell and no answer to our knoks on his door (although he told us when we checked in that he is available for 24 hours) We order 3 nights, we abandoned after 1 night with no sleep (to a hotel nearby), sent an email to Carlos, never contacted by him (we got a standard email after we left , with the instructions to the internet and his hope that we enjoyed our stay ). We were charged for 3 nights.

The toilet and bathroom need some refurbishment. The bedsheets did not seem to be clean, as I found a long black hair below the pillow.

It had everything you need for a short stay. Close to the beach. Friendly host.
