Not ideal for spontaneous booking (in the low season), as they don't have staff at the hotel 24/7, so we needed to wait a while - then again, we spontaneously booked a night without any other bookings

Incredibly nice staff. Full breakfast, eventhough we were the only guests that night. Nice terrace & pool. Our Baby loved the cat and watching the cows. Parking is no problem. Unfortunatly we just stayed one night and couldnt change our travel plans. Ju made us wish to stay a little longer.

Very nice stay. The owners make their own wine an have a lot of animals (and a huge land). Only minus, you have to ask for it (what we did). Tried their white and red wine and got 2 rides with a pick-up truck thru the fields, grapes and to see all animals

The restaurant menu was very limited, if you want to eat on the property, you can only get some hamburgers/pizzas etc.

The property was well located, providing an amazing retreat in the nature. The staff was amazing, especially Ju who always made sure we were having a good time. While on the pool, Ju would approach us and offer the best caipirinha you can imagine. We felt very special and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some calm and relaxed days.

i had read previous reviews before booking and saw that you can pre-book meals which i did a week or so before coming, i was told some one would call and arrange it but no one did, so i was very disappointed when we arrived and told the only food we could get would be from the snack bar and even that it was narrowed down to just three options, im sure this was down to them being short staffed as it looked like there was just one woman doing it all (she was lovely) but a local alentejo plate of the day would have been fantastic. the other things i want to make a note about is the lack of a bin in the room, we had a baby as did many other guest at the hotel and no bins to put nappies in.

the rooms were never clean, it seemed like they only had one staff member per day and she wasn’t able to take care of the entire property on her own. We had ants in the room, bathroom, bed, sink! Breakfast was terrible — just bread and cake. They offered fruit, but it was bruised and old. The coffee made me sick three days in a row till I stopped drinking it.

The staff was far from helpful, a bit rude in fact, not providing any type of info about the property or services available. We spent 4 days/3 nights at the property and our suite was never cleaned, even though we asked to be vacuum cleaned since we had an invasion of ants. We were suggested to use an insecticide (ourselves) to deal with the ants, which we refused. The bar at the property only serves coffee and water, no food available. Breakfast is extremely basic and with a lack of healthy options - a pity since Alentejo is rich in so many types of foods.

The suite was a great size, with a separate living area with a sleeping couch, tv, and fridge. The swimming pool was amazing with astonishing views of the property. There is also a pool for babies/kids. Very quiet place in Alentejo, ideal for relaxing.

All was great

Everything was amazing here. A really nice location in the Alentejo region, where one can relax and enjoy a nice clean pool. The rooms are pretty big and clean. The staff is really helpful and nice.

The catering was very lack lustre. They sate that you can order an evening meal, which we did well in advance, but on arrival was told only a limited snack menu was available. We ended up with a barley acceptable shop bought pizza, and they did not deliver the chips we ordered, instead, when we questioned this we were given a bowl of crisps. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special, and the lack of staff meant that everything ran late. I certainly would not stay there again.

The rooms were clean, and the bed comfortable, with air conditioning and shutters to keep it nice and cool. The pool is very good, salt water rather than chlorine, and designed with a wheelchair ramp which is a nice touch.

The first breakfast the lady was rude and unwelcoming and there was nothing to eat accept cereal. The coffee was cold and she spent more time feeding her son then putting out fresh food. Only when we left she put out food for the others so we felt very sad. The lack of variety did not reflect the price paid. On the 3rd and final day the breakfast was lovely and we got offered cooked eggs! Ju was amazing. We were also sad not to be offered wine tasting as advertised as that's what we went there for. Also the farm visit was offered to us upon check out but we were already to go... The place was lovely but I felt it wasn't the holiday I had paid for.

Ju was brilliant and kind and an asset to your team. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Really lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. The facilities were beautiful and clean.
