The breakfast was ok, eggs, coffee and sausages were horrible though. The air conditioning couldn't cool the room below 25C, and that was cooler than inside the mini fridge (incapable of chilling any drink), I ended up sleeping with the balcony door open. The staff could smile more, they weren't ruse, but didn't look very friendly either. Also the SPA needs to be controlled, there were children jumping into the pool and people without the hair cap. Sunday morning it was impossible to relax in the SPA because felt like a public pool, silence should be required.

Clean, modern, out of the city but with options nearby. Extra points for having a kettle in the room and have the outdoor pool ready for a hot day out of the season. Both things are very rare in Portugal.

I know some of the rooms are more recent than others. Unfortunately we stayed in the older ones that were a bit out-dated but that didn't change how amazing our stay was.

Amazing and super complete breakfast, fantastic spa area and very friendly staff. The complex were the hotel is located has a restaurant, a bar and an amazing garden with a lake that makes it ideal for a great stay without feeling the need to grab the car to go anywhere else.

The spa and the breakfast were amazing. Also they have a small kind of farm just by the hotel with horses, goats, chickens, ducks which are very pleasant. Although we did not try you can book a horse riding class. The lake which was just by the farm was really nice and peaceful. Great for a resting weekend and holidays 😊

That my room was not available to stay another night. Nothing to complain about.

Perfect overnight from Porto to Spain. Nice SPA area and very good massage. Dinner was also good, happy to see vegan & vegetarian choices although I opted for fish. Service very friendly. Breakfast plentiful and in a nice, bright and friendly atmosphere.

Location is a bit out of the way, we were visiting for a festival in coura, wasn’t enough parking spots at night.

I know when we walked in we were sweaty and tired, and frankly might have looked like we didn't belong in a posh hotel, but no one at the desk smiled at us. I smiled and kept trying to get someone to smile to no avail. They must get a few Camino walkers in here- so I was kind of surprised that the greeting was not kind. There were many, like 6 people, at the desk at the time , so maybe there was another issue going on. *When I did come back after my shower to get a beer, the girl at the desk was super nice. The other issue we had was leaving in the morning. We got up super early, right before sunrise, and couldn't find a way out of the property- the gates were locked tight and the walls were tall. Finally someone must have pushed a button to let us out, because the car gate opened. I was surprised that there wasn't a pedestrian gate for us leave by.

The place was very clean,. The beds were comfortable. After a full day of walking the Camino I was just glad to get to my hotel. I wish we had had the energy to use any of their spa facilities- but it was a hot walk that day and I couldn't bring myself to walk another step to explore the property. I also liked that they had simple things like cold beer at the front desk, so we didn't have to walk down the hill to the bar restaurant. (I was surprised that the bar wasn't in the lobby)
