To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyWe booked a double room with an extra bed, which made the room feel quite small overall. There was barely enough space to move around or even open suitcases easily. There were also not enough charging points in the room for us to be able to charge our devices in parallel.
The staff was nice and made the check-in process super smooth (even letting us check-in early). The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and had a lot of variety. The 24 hour bar/cafe was a great convenience. It was easy to get cabs to/from the hotel and the airport was only 10mins away. The location is a bit outside the city centre but you can always get there easily with public transport/Uber.

Bed was comfy, bar and evening meals were very nice. Breakfast was adequate. Vending machine in lobby area was a great idea but it was a shame no water was sold from it. Bus stop nearby was very useful and reception staff were fantastic.

RomaniaSometimes the bar could not serve food in the evenings and this happened exactly when it would of been handy to eat at the hotel. But this was not such a big issue, we've found excellent eating places very near to the hotel.
Excellent staff assistance, clean room, big bathroom, air con functioning, comfortable bed. Very good breakfast!

HungaryFirst of alll The room and The bathroom is very very clean. The hotel ( reception , bar) is open all day, 24 Hours. The stuff is helpful and speak english fluently . The metro Station is close ( apr. 300m) - Praca de espanol station- blue line). The planes are landing above us , above The hotel via Lisbon airport, but my opinion is , it is not disturbing The breakfast is Good and rich.
