The location is superb. Steep hill to the property on one side but an alternative less strenuous walk on the other. Downstairs 2 bedroom apartment was more spacious inside but no balcony & less light. Upstairs 2 bedroom apartment had 2 x small balconies. Everything we needed was on site and the apartments were both immaculately clean. Isabel addressed any queries we had quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. We were so happy we tried to book again for next year but they are sold out.

The apartment was clean and tidy with modern upgrades. we were missing a kettle (British) however one text to owners and a brand new one was supplied next day. The communication between the owners and ourselves was excellent. The property is a little gem. People have said about mobility issues about this property but that is the same for all of Albufeira old town. We stopped in the 1 bed terrace apartment on 2nd floor (which is also the top floor) and the terrace is fantastic with great views over the town the terrace has just had a roof put on it which is a great addition. We will definitely return so I am a bit worried about this review in case It gets overbooked.

While I had no issues just an observation for those with mobility difficulties. There are many hills and steps to negotiate.

The location was excellent. The apartment was very clean comfortable and had all the necessities that one needs.

the apartment was very good value, but not for us if we knew if Was not in a good location for disabled people, the roads are very steep to the town,we had to leave after one night as my husband couldn’t manage the steep hill, maybe let people know not good if you have a disability,

Great facilities, big fridge with freezer draws, washing machine, safe, iron and board. There is a four ring electric hob and a combi/microwave oven. We had apartment 3 on the top floor which has a big sun terrace. A few minutes walk from the elevator to the beach, or turn left down the hill and it's minutes to the main square. Apartment has heating/air con. Good sized shower. Apartment three is one bedroom, ideal for a couple. Great communication from De Hofnar staff. Easy access to the apartment via key pad for front door, and small key safe in the hallway with two keys for the apartment.

Master bed is a bit small for 2 adults (standard double size) - when your used to a king-size

advertising showed sun terrace with sun loungers. This was definitely not with our apartment and should not have been advertised as such. second bedroom. Tiniest window, damp smelling.
