Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaSofa wasn't exactly comfortable. Had problems with most doors.
Easy instruction on how to get in (just pin codes). Secure parking in a garage. Good location. Nice apartment.

New ZealandThere is no elevator and the flat is on the top floor of 4, so there are 8 relatively steep and narrow flights of stairs to lug your baggage up. The last of the 8 is even narrower and steeper....
Our flight was delayed to late evening, so the hosts emailed us a door code. They were very communicative, though we never actually met them. The studio was delightful - just as shown in the photographs. We particularly liked the balcony overlooking the park. It's a fairly quiet part of town, but within easy walking distance of the Avenida Metro station. A bonus was that the apartment was serviced every second day - something we hadn't anticipated.

United Kingdomwell, the kitchen sink leaked causing a flood, which was dealt with quickly, but the sink continued to leak during our stay, so we tried not to use it. the room itself was quite small and in need of a bit of attention, for example, there were a few lightbulbs out. A couple of light switches were only held on by one screw which made it a bit 'dodgy' the stairs up to the room were very steep and needed a hand rail. in fact all the stairs- and there were many to the top floor were very dark and needed more lighting and handrails. the bottom steps to the front door were stone and slippery. The marshall speaker/ radio was a nice touch but didn't work and the wires for the jack plug was loose. The bathroom floor was very slippery. as said the room was small the eating area was limited, yes there is a lovely table outside but if it rains, and it did there isn't really anywhere to sit and eat. there is a breakfast bar and stools but is under the roof and you have to bend your neck to fit there. also there was no where really to store clothes properly. the outside rattan furniture was brittle and faded and sun damaged,
we liked the location of the flat. centrally located and close to metro when needed. nice to stroll all the way down to the riverfront. nice bars and restaurants close by, a couple of friendly mini markets nearby. we had a lovely balcony over looking the park below and cityscape.

United KingdomThe lighting, no bedside lamps or side lamps in the sitting room. Also there is a nice restaurant downstairs but they play music loudly until 1am and it was coming through the floor. We have children so it was a bit difficult for them to sleep. If you don't want to be bothered by the music ask that you are not in the room above the restaurant.
The cleanliness. We booked their private garage which cost 30€ per night. Friendly girl checked us in.

Great location, we could walk to most of the places we wanted to go. Terrace was wonderful, great view and lovely to sit out in the evening and listen to the live music from the bar in the park.

CanadaThe washroom is tiny, especially the shower. Not the easiest to take a shower and impossible to dry off without opening the door of the washroom.
The location is great to walk to Praca Rossio and all the way down to Cais do Sodre. Cute balcony views and a very comfortable stay overall.I've stayed in Lisbon many times over the years in various neighborhoods, and while the location was perfect, I wouldn't stay here again simply as I think it's too expensive for such a tiny washroom, but others may feel it's worth it.

IrelandKey codes for access sent days prior to visit and literally no interaction with staff during our stay, not very clear how you would contact staff if required while there. Very unpleasant smell of sewerage from the bathroom for our entire stay that only got worse, poor ventilation in the bathroom.
Good location, nice modern apartments but some smaller than pictures in reality. Perfect for a big group like ours, with a lovely shared garden available to use for socialising.
