Very helpful and professional staff( Bruno)👍🏻, central position right above the marine, view of the city and the Mount Brasil. Basically in the heart of the city of Angra with all the necessary service. Well equipped kitchen, cosy area to hang out, outdoor seating with the view of the setting sun. Comfy bed and two power outlets for each bed in the dorm. A free use of a towel for each guest was very appreciated.

Not a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues, know that the property is up a steep pedestrian street (or down, depending on how you arrive) and there are stairs to the upper floor rooms.

Great place! Friendly welcome and recommendations for things in the city. The facility is very clean, the private room we had was large and had a great view of the harbor and buildings in the old center of down. There was a problem with the outside door code, but they are so responsive we were only outside for a minute. Really impressive to be available so quickly.

Generous rooms with a simple and modern aesthetic; super location and great views and facilities. I really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and admiring the view. It's great when they've clearly thought through simple practicalities like sockets, lighting and enough hooks ! Staff super friendly and helpful- the Google map with tips was such a nice touch.

Amazing view! Great location and the bed was more comfortable than the previous 6 i slept in in azores. I'm not sure why it's called deluxe. It was very nice, but the only thing deluxe was the view. Large, comfy bed. Short walk to center of town.

It's still a hostel, so prepare for the occasional noisy neighbour. Also, lock your door! People mistakenly entered our room three times!

The view was great! Good location as well. The owner was very friendly and gave some good tips on where to go snorkeling.

Access could be somewhat challenging for some, as the front door is on a short stairway and incline from the drop off point. No problem for us, but I feel compelled to mention this. Everything else was excellent.

Great location close to center, with outstanding views of the harbor. Our room was quiet, well appointed and had a comfy bed. Our Host, Bruno, was excellent in facilitating our needs, and super helpful. Many thanks Bruno!!

Beautiful place to stay in Angra! It has a wonderful view on the ocean and the city center of Angra. It's ideally located to explore the city, just a few minutes walk! We stayed in the studio and that has everything you need, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and coach and TV (with Netflix) to relax. Andre and Ana were really helpful, flexible and easy to communicate with. Andre gave us lot of good advice and recommendations for the island.

Not much to complain about. Just to say something: Maybe some improvement could be made regarding the storage room for everybody in the shared fridge.

Very nice place, modern. Wonderful view. Perfect location. The room was very comfortable. Very nice welcome and care from the person at the reception. She gave nice visit advice and also kept informed about the weather (storms) which is much appreciated.

The atmosphere in dorms was fantastic - we got to know amazing people there! Andre and Ana are so kind and helpful and always ready to chat about everything! You can clearly see that the place is managed by people with passion towards traveling and others. If you really want to see what Angra do Heroismo is about, to literally feel the city, it’s a 100% GO - the enormous balcony with the view of the inner city will provide you that, especially with finest azorian wine and after the dark.

Perfect spot with a nice terrace overlooking the port of angra and monte brasil. There is a shared kitchen where you can get some coffee or drinks. Ana was really friendly and gave us a lot of information about what to do around the island.

The host (Andre) was excellent and very helpful. We liked it so much that we are booking a second stay here for when we return to the island. We would definitely recommend staying at the Mid-Atlantic.

I didn't find the shared kitchen-dining area to be very welcoming in hostel sense. A lot of the fridge and counter space is filled with pricey drinks and snacks, and there is not a lot of cooking utensils. It was a bit annoying to find a kettle in the cupboard every time I went to use it, why would you hide such a frequently used appliance?

The hostel is really very beautiful, new and smells nice. Our room was very spacious and has a lot of place for storage or our things. The place is very good, it is situated just right next to the main streets of Angra and close to the beach. I would probably stay here again if I had to return to Terceira.
