We entered into the room and my wife went to keep her jacket on the hanger and got hurt as the floor was deep broken and they tried to hide it with a rug! There was bad smell in the room not sure why but might be from bed sheet and blanket as bed sheet seemed not cleaned properly and we had to keep our balcony door open. There was extreme smell of urine in the toilet as well. Don't think they mop the floor. The bed was so shaky and making loud sound when we were moving at sleep so couldn’t sleep very well. I know I shouldn't blame the authority because of this but there was an Indian couple taking shower after 12 and talking and playing music so loudly. I think the authority didn’t mention the rules properly to them.

We checked the location before booking so no complain about location and the room was big enough for a couple.

when we arrived, realized that the room was a disaster! bed frame broken, they was trying to to “fix” with random cabinet doors on each other, was uncomfortable and super loud! mattress was molded! smelly! we ask immediately change the bed or the room but nobody didnt do anything. floor had a huge hole in the floor what they was hide with a carpet.

It’s an amazing place with a lovely view. It was an amazing experience at this place. Staff was really nice I do appreciate a lot. Room was so clean and comfortable. I love the balcony.

It was the worst hostel,which I have ever seen. I informed reception that the plane was delayed so that is the reason why we came to the hostel later, but she took 10 euro from our group that we came later than 10 o'clock. The pillow was dirty, nobody even cleaned our room or rubbish in our room in 5 days. Photos are not true at all. And personnel didn't ask us if we had any concerns/problems.

Good deal. Carolina is really helpful. Property discloses everything like you need to walk up to 3flights of stairs. Old building but we had a good sleep. It was perfect for some "lazy" day after almost a month of touring Europe.

Steep, steep stairs to 4th floor. Room was filthy and badly needed maintenance and repair. I took pictures because I couldn’t believe I was paying money to stay here! So much traffic noise night and day. Very small fan ineffective to relieve heat. Uncomfortable bare bones mattress, nails splinters sticking up on floor. Sadly everything appeared to be badly neglected.

The communication could be improved. It was done through Booking.com, and I couldn't see if I was responding--I could only see them sending me messages through my email. Also, the number listed online is not for Whatsapp. I think communication would be easier through WhatsApp or regular email (not Booking.com unless they make it easier to see if your reply got to the hostel).

It was clean, the room was spacious and nice. The bathrooms were clean and so was the kitchen.

No air conditioning so had to have the window open but adjacent rooms could see us lying in bed! There was also a bad smell when the window was open. We were kept awake by a couple rowing in another room.

There was fighting in a room down the hall,we had to leave 3:30am due to safety concerns... staff did nor get back to me with a towel request.. westayed 3 nights. Worst place we. we were not told the wi-fi password..nor were we told it was posted on the back of the room door...

The toilet was too close to the wall in the private external bathroom. It was super difficult to sit. No cleaning was done whatsoever. The bathroom was all moldy. The whole building stinks of mold and you can see it on the walls and ceiling. The floor in the private room no 1 was wet and moldy in one place and they placed a carpet on it to cover the spot. If you stepped on it the board was loose and soft. Not safe. Zero privacy as everyone can hear everything that's happening. I could hear someone farting in the toilet that was two doors away and everytime someone walks in the corridor it feels like they're in your room. S

The shared toilets are dirty, clogged. The hallway smells like tobacco and unclean and needless to say about our room. Someone entered our room in the middle of the night because the lock is almost falling apart. The bed is almost falling apart as well and there’s hardly any furniture like a mirror in the room. Barely any outlets either.

Worst hostel/hotel of our portugal trip. Windows are sealed! They do NOT open!! The walls of the room are scratched and everything falls apart. Everything smelly moldy. Asked via mail if we could leave the bags before check-in and upon arrival the woman didnt open the door?! Same with check out. We couldn’t leave the bags but were told via mail we could. The “reception” lady is unpolite and neither speaks English nor Spanish. The stove does not work! Everything in the kitchen is dirty! No water pressure and no mirror in the bathroom.

It's a shared bathroom. Both of them are worse. The room is on the 4th floor , but there is no elevator. You have to carry your luggage to the top. Worst experience.
