The room wasn't ready when I arrived...so hard to even open the door..and the view wasn't as described and as in the photo..it doesn't feel like it's worth the price I paid for.

We arrived precisely at the check-in time of 16:00 when they said they would provide a building entrance code, as well as, a code for the lock box at the unit door which would have a key. I informed them we were at the building multiple times thru the messaging on Booking.com. I continued trying to message them to get the codes. Finally, I had to call them. I didn’t have an international cell phone plan so the phone call ended up costing me $10.00. I got a hold of someone and they finally provided the codes to me. We were outside the unit for over 1/2 hour waiting for some kind of communication. Over a 1/2 hour after the published checkin time, we received the codes. I’d hate to think if it had been raining. Not very good communication on the host’s part.

The property itself was fantastic. Great location and a lovely view. The kitchen and furnishings were nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything I needed..

There is nothing to not like,it’s perfect.

This property was the perfect accommodation to base ourselves in to explore all of Porto. Very clean, well equipped, easy check in, comfortable bed, brilliant shower.

You are paying a premium for this property's location, but the apartment itself is very basic. Everything in the apartment from the couch to the bathroom to the linens seem like they have seen better days. Everything was clean, but it was all quite worn out and not fresh.

The location of this property truly can't be beat! It is probably as close to the river as you can get, and the view from the balconies is stunning. That was absolutely our favorite part of this stay. It is also very central with a ton of restaurants, shops, and sites within a five minute walk. I would say the location makes up for any amenities that the property lacks.

I would have preferred to have access to a shower mat as the shower tray was slippery. The toilet flush needs to be fixed as one has to hold down the plate. I tried to call and one is asked if one prefers English but then it doesn’t switch over to English.

Location was perfect and accessible, it was clean and had everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

We had a bit of a hard time finding the building the apartment was in but did finally find it. Taxi couldn't take us right to the building so had to carry suitcases and bags down some very uneven surfaces to get to the apartment. The apartment is very basic. Could be decorated to be more homey with simple things like throw rugs and pictures on the walls. Also no toiletries provided except one bottle of body wash that also had to be used for hand soap as there was none. Only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels provided and 2 very small rolls of toilet paper for 4 day stay. We had to go buy more. These are very minor issues that could be easily fixed.

It was very easy to find keys and gain access into the apartment. Location of the apartment was perfect. Right on the river, beautiful view, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was very clean and had the basics. The balcony was gorgeous with doors opening straight out over the river. Very nice big screen TV with lots of channels. Internet worked well.

There are two doors to the juliet balcony but only one opened which limited the view.

The location was amazing. It was a bit difficult to find the place as the cab didn't really know where he was going but we managed to find it without too much trouble.

Wish there was another set of towels available. Should change the orientation of the sofa to look out towards the water. We actually did this and it was sooooooo lovely.

This is a regular rental apartment and felt a little sterile. More like a hotel room than an apartment, but overall very adequate.

Prime location very close to the river. Extra bonus that the apartment is on the margin of the old town, in a quiet location. Also, the restaurant just outside the entrance is great - perhaps one of the best in Porto!

as I mentioned before, we’re staying as a family, so the couch is extremely uncomfortable, they forgot the bed sheets and pillows, and all other supplies were prepared for 2 people, but we payed for a stay for 4. it’s quite complicated to get the access at the beginning, we did only after third try by calling on their hotline. in general it’s nice and probably will be ok for a couple , but not if you are staying as a family.

Although the hosts were very promptly responsive to requests, it was disappointing to find such things as only one wine glass and many pieces of kitchenware with chips in an apartment of generally high standard. Feel that at this level and price, these items should be checked and replaced on changeover day.

Amazing location and views. Very bright and airy apartment, lots of storage space. And provision of umbrellas was a bonus during our stay!

Not very clean. Lacking complementary basics (no salt, pepper, oil, paper towel). The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and noisy.

The description wasn’t clear - I thought I was getting a room with a view of the river, but it turned out lateral view of the river meant you had to lean out of the window. It is also impossible to get close to the property in a car (e.g. taxi) so it is NOT for anyone with a lot of luggage. The back bedroom was dingy and dark. A bit disappointing to be honest, especially given the high cost.
