Everything about our stay was incredible - hosts were very welcoming, house was extremely charming, cozy and clean. The location is great - just outside of Ponta Delgada, yet very well connected to all the main roads. Perfect!

It is close to the church, so the bells are strong and were waking us up constantly. Also could be noisy from the street depending on the traffic.

This was our favorite stay of our trip and we stayed at 3 different locations. Private, clean and big room with private bathroom and lots of privacy. Secure parking within steps and beautiful authentic hosts. It’s clear the owners take pride in their belongings and hosting, they were available for any and all questions and even showed us items around the house we wanted to know more about. Beautiful eating area with a gorgeous view and even offered us fresh sweet ride pudding and banana bread! We burnt our dinner one evening, and Paulinha offered us part of her own dinner. Central area which allowed us to return to areas around the island we wanted more time at and walking distance to grocery store as well. Don’t miss out on this place!!!

Authentic Azorian house with lots of character. My room was very quiet and cosy . Paula and Joao are very welcoming hosts and I appreciate they share their wonderful house with others. It is very easy to reach from the airport, just 15 Minutes on the highway. I would go back any time.

There is free parking nearby but sometimes hard to find a spot. A full size double bed would be an improvement.

Wonderful old Azorean house with great hosts. We had some very interesting conversations at meal times. Good location east of Ponta Delgada near the highway. Good kitchen facilities and a nice terrace to use. Big private bathroom.

The location is ideal - close both to the airport and the city centre of Ponta Delgada. The responsiveness of the owners -you will get all the answers about the history, cousine, hints for your travel around - all you need. And very soon feeling like part of their family. definately we will return.

We were travelling with a baby (1,5year) and so we went to bed early. We had to find out how to make the room dark. But that is not a standard issue :-)

Lovely place, full of heart and little details you can admire. The owners are really helpful and nice people. If you sleep in a normal pattern you are familiar with shared houses you will love the place. The room is big and nice and common areas are also large enough.

Since the house is old (but charming), humidity in the room was high. But I thing that this is the same for every local accomodation on São Miguel, so OK.

- Would be great if the room could be equipped with mosquito net in the window. - There is a sport hall next to the house and sometimes it was loud until about 11pm but most probably it was some tournament which doesn't take place on a daily basis so probably we had just bad luck :)

Fantastic homestay in historic azorean house. Hosts are wonderful, kind and welcoming people. I absolutely loved old fashioned kitchen and bedroom - house has a truly unique atmosphere. There is a beautiful backyard with lot of trees and it's fantastic to sit there by the table, drink coffee or wine and to relax. There is a free parking close to the house (in front of the church). Overall highly recommended place to stay.

Nothing bad at all

Great family owners, nice room- Joao and Paula even offered me food and places to store my own food and drinks. Love place to stay for the price. About a 10 euro taxi ride to downtown
