We liked everything about our stay!

The hosts, a Portuguese couple, are very sweet and they make delicious breakfast. The view from the Quinta is astonishing and the location is amazing to visit all of Douro Valley - as long as you have a car. And if you befriend the local neighbours, they might offer you a few glasses of Port Wine! We’ll be back one day!

For the modern world where everything is electronic and requires USB (of any type) connections, charging devices with one outlet available was a challenge

The century old farmhouse and vineyard The host was kind and though language was an issue, all was good. He was generous in offering to take us to his wine and port cellar. Tasty!

A car is needed to get to restaurants that are located in neighbouring towns. Limited restaurants in the immediate area.

The location is fabulous, right on the douro river, very beautiful and quiet. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The value for money is fantastic, we needed a place for one night so it was perfect for us. The room we got, along with the nice breakfast was more than we expected in advance regarding the price. The Quinta is traditional with plenty of art, something that adds up on the expirience. There are definitely other hotels you can go if you seek extra facilities, but if you want a nice place to sleep, with amazing view and a heartfull hospitality, this is definitely the right place to go! This guest house is very large and lots of room to move about. Not much English is spoken by family, but they had a daughter visiting who could speak English well. The breakfast was very good and guests were each served a cheese omelet along with lots of bread choices, fruits, cheeses and meats. View of the Douro River from our room was very lovely.

Good location in the Douro. The pool area is great to relax and the view is beautiful. Good breakfast. Would go back. Just a little tip: if you want to visit Port House in the Douro: reserve on advance, it’s quite busy :-) Pur favorite Quinta da pancheca

The Perfect Place!

Just beautiful. Awesome great old farmhouse and so much detail and uniqueness in every room. Wonderful view of river - also lovely swimming pool on a veranda with view over the valley and river. Free port in our room on arrival. Bar fridge with wine and cooldrink and so affordable. Breakfast GREAT!

The wifi coverage is not that good, we had connectivity issues in the room

The location is amazing and the owners are really friendly. The views from the pool are insane. The room was really good and you had local wine in your room you could pay a very minimal extea amount to use. The morning breakfast is nice and you get to talk to some others tourists. Really amazing experience
