Improvements are a constant, therefore the shower head could be replaced, the water was spraying everywhere but downstream, and the bathroom could have a deep clean.

On arrival staff was friendly and gave advice regarding dinner options, as well directions on how to get to the natural pools. Room was sea view with balcony, large and comfortable bed, cozy and clean!

Good views

It was very close to the rock pools and was easily accessible. Breakfast was good with great views.

There was one aspect that fell short of expectations: the breakfast. Regrettably, both the hygiene and taste of the breakfast offerings left much to be desired.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was uncomplicated, and we could promptly go to our room. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the spaciousness and comfort it offered. The room boasted a plethora of amenities, including a writing desk, TV, wardrobe, safe, and a thoughtfully stocked mini-fridge. However, the true highlight was the expansive balcony, which provided us with a breathtaking view and two sunbeds. This allowed us to soak up the stunning scenery in ultimate comfort, making it the perfect spot for relaxation.

It could benefit from some kind of airport shuttle maybe or airport transfer service. I think the taxis in that area massively overcharge

Breakfast was good! It wasn’t gourmet but had a good selection that we were very happy with! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The place and the room was very clean and we slept so perfectly!

The experience was generally very good. Certain small repairs could have helped (the bathroom door did not stay closed) but nothing outstandingly bothering. I would gladly recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent. 25 m distance to Porto Moniz Natural Pools and the ocean. We kept windows open in order to enjoy the ocean sounds during the night. There is pay-based parking close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and made an effort to accommodate special dietary restrictions.

Quite old facilities. Was still comfortable, but the air conditioning in the main area did absolutely nothing. Luckily the AC in the bedroom worked quite well or it would have been WAY too hot to sleep. Pretty moldy smelling so I would be very shocked if there wasn’t quite a bit of mold all around.

Pretty small selection for breakfast, coffee wasn't good.

Nice to have a balcony, didn't need to use the A/C. Nice room, bed was comfortable. Close to the natural pools.

No parking-you need to find an empty spot on the public parking-need to pay small fee if you come earlier than 7PM Ladies serving the breakfast could have use their smile little more and not looking like they want to kill me when I asked for an espresso ;)

I didn't like the view from my room. Also, the WIFI signal was very bad in my room and I was on the first floor. I had to rely on roaming data to have internet on my mobile. I was also bothered by the bed linen, as there was an awful lot of it on the bed and very thick due to the high day and night temperatures. But that's just my personal preference. It can be ideal for those who are often cold.

The breakfast was good and I was also glad that it was included in the price of the accommodation. The staff was nice, the cleanliness of the common areas and the room I was in was good. The TV had quite a few domestic channels in good quality. The bathroom was above average and definitely the best I experienced during my stay in Madeira.
