Rooms with balcony are under the resturant so can be rather noisy until it closes which may be fairly late ( midnight) I was here out of season so very few guests, Perhaps because of this breakfast was not great. Stale breads, mouldy yogurt, rubber cheese. Resturant service very good but typically poor algarve food and wine.

Nice room with comfortable bed. Tea but no coffee in room. Hotel is near good walking country. Nice staff and spotlessly clean.

We enjoyed our stay in a rural location with beautiful views, we had a beautiful view from the balcony but the terrace doesn't have views, and the balcony was small but fine. Breakfast and dinner were great and it was good value. The staff were very nice. Car is a must.

The car horns blasting at 2230-2300 The dogs barking at 0500 The parking was rather full due to a function that thought it would have been nice to have been told about when we checked in.

The dogs in the property opposite which often barked and kept us awake through the early hours and particularly from 6am onwards .

The staff and owner at this location were very friendly and helpful .Grace who covered the late reception duties engaged with us often which added to our stay.The hotel whilst difficult to get to without a car provided excellent views from our room of the surrounding valley. The food was adequate. Our room was ok but we suffered a lot of noise from occupants in the adjoing room the first weekend.

Design a bit dated. Breakfast outside terrace very basic tables & chairs, old carpet. Room was very small. Not easy to find, narrow winding road. Since hotel restaurant was closed needed to go to town for dinner, a bit far & difficult to drive in dark.

Lots of choice for breakfast but cafeteria style. Quiet room, slept well. Free parking. Booked last minute because we could not arrive at our planned destination. Very nice, friendly reception, spoke very well English.

Was a little expensive for a 3 star hotel.

Staff was really nice, was also able to book a massage. If you love meat the restaurant is amazing. Clean rooms and nice pool area especially if you have kids. Room was clean and had a minibar too.

The bar was not open in the evening to have drinks on the terrace, only if you were eating. A big downside.

One room was without windows and a/c. Restaurant is closed for Mondays, but administrator advised us a very good place to eat nearby.

I arrived on a Sunday and was surprised to find the locals all go there for Sunday supper because it is such good food. Everyone but the guests were gone before evening and the hotel settled into a quiet night. Wonderful local flavor, out of town with local hiking trails going off into the hills.

The approach to the hotel is a bit narrow, and the walls between the rooms could be thicker, but that didn't bother me too much :)

I had an amazing view on the hills and the room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really good. The whole hotel seemed well managed! I also had dinner in the restaurant and It was very delicious! Highly recommended!

you need to check the shower, the flow rate of the handshower was not good, and the overflow of the shower was not working properly (water stagnation)
