We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaWe had a bit of trouble finding the place, but in the end we succeeded. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs so there was a lot of up and down. It is a very hilly place.

The Rick Steve's recommended fishing town of Salema was scenic, small with great food. The apartment was very nice. Parking was great.

PortugalThere is no fiber internet in the apartments so we paid an extra fee for a portable wi-fi router which was not great. The apartment itself could use some renovation, especially regarding the bathroom which was quite old. Everything was functional though.
The location is absolutely perfect! Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and all the facilities needed for a week's vacation including good restaurants. This little fishermen's village is lovely as well as other towns nearby. Also, the host was very kind and gave us a room with a lovely sea view.

United KingdomThe apartment has no fan and no air conditioning. Customer service was terrible. During a heatwave we asked for a fan to be provided but were given short shrift. We were told "all facilities are in the apartment". We paid extra for the WiFi, which took a while to get installed as the cleaner went awol. It broke down in less than a day. Someone had to come back to fix it. Then the satellite TV went down and had to be fixed. Nothing was left in the apartment. No salt, shopping bags, anything small at all. The place is obviously run by a corporation, not a family.
The apartment we were in, no. 42 was at the top with a balcony large enough for 2 sunbeds and a table with chairs. It was in a good location although, like most places in Salema, involved steps and a hill. Once the weather cooled off the apartment was comfortable.

Amazing view, quiet accommodation and walk to beautiful beach..nice to be close to all the sights of algarve but I longed to just relax in this beautiful quiet town.

Once we figured out where the lock box was it was very simple to retrieve the keys to our room. The number provided for assistance got us to someone who helped us with this.

United States of AmericaYou have to pay for wifi and it is charged by the week, so if you are only there for a day you either pay the weekly rate or are out of luck. They sent paperwork that needed to be filled out prior to check in via email but it was difficult to fill out and send back on my phone while traveling. The apartment had a very musty smell, and we saw mold in the bathroom. Also, the lockbox was a bit difficult to find.
Keys in the lock box was an easy way to check in, very good size apartment, beds were comfy, and the shades made it very easy to blackout the light in the rooms

United States of AmericaThe apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young children. The location within Salema was just perfect and a quick walk to the beach, with a lovely view. There are a couple nice restaurants nearby and a market with fresh baked goods. There was plenty of room and a very nice balcony. Salema is a great location within the Algarve and an easy drive to many activities. There were a couple days where dinner reservations in Salema were hard to come by so I'd recommend making some in advance if you can.

SpainThere were no cloths for wiping up in the kitchen and sponge for washing up dishes was old and used. Also there is only enough hot water for one or two people to shower so was difficult when 6 people need to shower. I would also caution anyone with toddlers that there is a very short wall around the stairwell that a small child could easily climb and fall over. I would want to know that if I was traveling with a climbing baby or toddler.
Location was perfect and the view was amazing! We loved being able to walk to the beach easily with our kids. There was plenty of space for our family of six and the apartment was simple and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful terrace with a view of the sea!
