The view is absolute breathtaking, Danish and his team were absolutely lovely and helpful. It is really worth it to spend some time there, it is majestuous and cozy!

We couldn't critique a thing.

This property is not normally available for nightly rentals; it is normally rented to groups for special stays. For this reason, I was able to rent this only through Booking.com, which is where the property offers itself for nightly rentals when management deams it to be avalable for such. So, we got lucky, and lucky we were! If you are going to Sintra for a couple of nights or more, and this property is available, take it! I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. It is divided into two areas - the main "palace" building and the adjoining villas. Our villa was essentially an apartment with over 1100 square feet of floor area, a kitchen, a living roon, a bedroon, and a large bathroom. Not only that, but it is expensively constructed. All that for the money we spent still leaves me in wonder. Additionally, we had our own yard with an unparalled view of the Atlantic. Buffet breakfast was included. Monserrate Palace is a short 2 km drive away, and the town of Sintra as well as the Quinta da Regaleira are a 17-minute walk in the other direction. Perfect location for that reason and because you are away from the crowd, the noise, and the traffic. A beautiful and peaceful place. We both wished we had a week there.

There was NOTHING I didn't like. Everything was PERFECT! Dinesh was always available at every moment and they thought of everything, easily anticipating my needs. Couldn't ask for a better stay, just wish I booked 2 more nights!

Honestly hard to come up with anything I didn’t care for other than boy Sintra had steep hills and that translates to this property as well. You will get a work out!

This “home” is not a home at all. This is an estate!! However regardless of the size it is the homiest place I’ve ever stayed. We arrived at 1 pm with check in at 4. Our room was ready at 1 and they allowed us to move right in. Our room was the size of a nice home at 1000 sq feet. Each time inside was beautifully appointed. There was wine cheese and fruit greeting us in the kitchen. Daneesh told us what there was to do and was on call for any of our needs. The grounds are spectacular! Views of another castle from our room. I must add that the bed linens and mattress were divine and some of the best pillows I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. A great touch while watching the sunset from the pool was that the owner had taken time out from his day to come and ask each quest how their stay was and what he could do to make their time better. Overall if I could give it more stars I would. It a wonderful secret!

There really is very little to not like about Quinta da Bella Vista, the only thing I might say is that the kitchenette in our room, although well stocked, was a little dated. But it sort of added to the charm!

It is in the most beautiful position, absolutely stunning views, the house is surrounded by green. Dinesh was just wonderful, so helpful and welcoming. It really is a very special place and would be a wonderful destination to celebrate with a large group of family and friends.

Loved everything about this property. It was absolutely stunning, so tranquil and relaxing. A very unique stay with gorgeous rooms, incredible views and friendly staff. We were delighted to realise the property was within walking distance to Sintra. It was the perfect location. I couldn’t recommend more highly enough. I am pregnant and found it is a bit hard to get around, restaurants are far. Bolt cars are super cheap but sometimes we had to wait longer to find a ride to return to the hotel. But would definitely return when I’m not pregnant. ❤️

It is pretty far from food, and they only offer breakfast. I had to either go 30 minutes into town or order in. It was a little inconvenient to eat.

The estate is a gorgeous gem which is tucked in the mountains and has views of the surrounding palaces. We were absolutely awestruck by the facilities, attention to detail, sprawling grounds, and the kind and helpful staff. I cannot rave enough about this palace. The owner of three estate gave us two amazing food recommendations for dinner that we would have never discovered on our own. Both locations were untouched by tourists and with the best seafood we’ve had and the most gorgeous views. We were served a sprawling breakfast in our room, we stayed in the Palácio, and had breakfast overlooking the hills, palaces, and the ocean. Lastly, when we left, I accidentally dropped and lost my wallet outside the gate. The owners went out of their way to contact me and let me know they could ship it to be abroad since we had already flown out of Portugal. Truly the kindest and most beautiful experience we’ve had staying anywhere in the world. We will definitely be coming back in the future!! Thank you so much!!

Room was a little tight for space but very historic and lovely, in keeping with its time period. Not really something to complain about. As with all older Portuguese buildings it was a little cool in February but there was some heating and the bed was cozy.

Beautiful and peaceful location with so much history, you feel like you have stepped back in time. Room was charming with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with delicious fresh produce. Staff were very sweet and there was good communication. Property must be absolutely gorgeous in summertime. Views and gardens are spectacular even on windy, cold February days.

Breakfast was okay. They asked us what time we wanted to eat and picked us up to show us the way a bit later. When we arrived we found a very elegant breakfast area set up. Not all the dishes were ready just yet. A wider variety would have been nice and the pastries could have been more fresh, but what it lacked in this respect it really made up for in atmosphere and decor. We were practically alone eating breakfast in a palace dining room - we felt like royalty.

The premises are stunning. The room was super quiet and elegant. Wonderful shower/bath. Staff was gracious and whatever we requested we got quickly. There weren't many guests so we felt like we had the place to ourselves which was very romantic and suited us perfectly. The views are incredible and we enjoyed our stay even though the weather wasn't so great.

Our suite had an adjacent room and the insulation was not good. We could hear the guests in the next room perfectly.

Quinta da Bella Vista is absolutely stunning. It's a very special place right in the middle of Serra de Sintra. We loved our room (Shambala Suite) that combines a fireplace, with an overwhelming view and an amazing bathroom. Also, the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Dinesh (thank you!).
