The location was perfect, close to all amenities and felt really safe. The host was magnificent in offering quality information about the area and possible excursions. The view from the cabins are breathtaking looking on the ocean, villages and cliffs. There are good local and more touristy restaurants in the area. Parking on location was easy. There is a really nice pool, a basketball/tennis court. BBQ are available with some wood and a nice common area with cooking facilities. The place definitely has some magic to it, I will return ✨ Thank you for having me ! 😌

We stayed at a charming little bungalow, the view was stunning, and our host was great: we got there late by plane, late check in was not a problem and we were provided many local snacks just in case we were hungry when we arrived. She also had lots of great tips on activities! Everything was clean, great value for money. There's a pool (be aware: not heated :D )

Great place with a great host. Ideal for families. There is even a playground with swings for small kids (not visible in pictures during booking). Very good value for the money. The host was very helpful and we felt very welcome. We stayed for 7 nights.

We cannot say anything negative about this place! Diane is the friendliest host we ever met. She was so kind to us and recommended places to visit and was always available! This place is unique und such a peaceful place to visit. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friend and family. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay on São Miguel that is well-connected to all the touristy places across the island (and you like cats ;-)) then this is the place for you!

There are quite high humidity inside premises . We used air conditioner to reduce it, however some heaters might be helpful.

The attitude of the staff was exceptional, lots of towels, large refrigerator, wide parking place, quiet place, close to grocery shop and some good restaurants. Due to steep reljef it is better to use car to reach town centre.

When I first looked this place up, someone said if you see it available it’s your sign to book, and they were so right! The staff is all family and so personable! Each little bungalow is comfy and has its own porch to enjoy the views from. It was located in a great area and even had a pool that we swam in a few times. The extra unexpected perk was laundry!

Me and my girlfriend had wonderful 1 week in the beautiful place . I would definitely recommend for all my friends. The view , comfort, freedom. Unfortunately only the whether wasn’t to nice :) but house was so lovely. Owner always recommended the best places to visit- thank you a lot for this amazing experience.

This place is a gem. Amazing view over the ocean and the island, lovely apartments/bungalows, free parking, pool, barbecue area, laundry room, super friendly staff. This is not for those who want extreme luxury or comfort. But those who are a bit flexible and have an adventurous spirit, will be more than satisfied! WE LOVED IT! Cozy, quiet and revealing this breathtaking landscape. I doubt there is better value for money on the island!

Villa Emigrante is such a treat! Beautiful view and friendly stuff. Close to many local attractions and perfect mix of relaxation and adventures. The welcome pack from the host was a treat with some local products, not expected and really appreciated. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and on top of everything, they will try to help in anyway they can.

The house was a bit cold during our stay but Dianne sorted a radiator for us.
