We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

PortugalI don't understand how, among all this luxury and cost, the information about lactose content in the breakfast is severely lacking. When asked about lactose the lady said the milk had lactose and also some pastries. Looking at the choices there was obviously a lot more food with lactose. As I'm lactose intolerant I felt very unsafe eating anything. Ended up eating bread with olive oil and eggs. A hotel of this quality should have information about allergens readily available and not leave the guests to guess. I had complained about this 5 years ago when my intolerance was mild and expected better this time around. Even in low quality restaurants I'm able to know the lactose contents of the options. For the indoor pool there is no warning that swimming caps were necessary, they were available to buy but 4€ each which was severely overpriced considering the quality. Information about kids facilities is not readily available.
Shower was great. Room had lots of space, our 2 kids slept in the sofa bed comfortably. TV had a lot of options. Smelled clean. The outside pool was great, there were water slides which aren't advertised. There was also a playground that was not advertised. The inside pool with sauna, Turkish bath and jacuzzi was very good and clean. It is appointment based though. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Different breads, cakes, pastries, jams, honey, butter, cheeses, olive oils. There were a lot of choices in beverages, from 5 different types of juices to tea, coffee, milk and sparkling water. There were also breakfast cereals and yoghurt. Finally there were eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, filled tomatoes, baked beans, quiche, pancakes. Omeletes were done by request on the hour. All food was labeled in English and Portuguese and with the nutritional values.

Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. I know bed preferences are very much a personal thing. I had a single bed which is not a problem per se, but it felt old, lumpy, a bit saggy. I did expect better, and it's really my only criticism. The staff were personable and I really enjoyed one of them playing the piano one evening.
