Lots of package tour guests, but expected from this type of hotel.

Good buffet breakfast with someone cooking eggs to order. Pretty decent restaurant. Good location with own parking under the hotel.

The jacuzzi wasn't working and the spa is a little disappointing but great pool with plenty of surrounding space and beds.

Room with sunny balcony overlooking pool. Excellent quality lunch with salads and sandwiches. Good priced drinks and helpful staff.

I didn't like that a double bed was two single beds pushed together , leaving an uncomfortable bump in the middle of the joined matress. I didn't like that although there was a mini bar in the room there was no facility to make a tea or coffee when wished. Coffee on the balcony is a highlight of a holiday for me,but I wouldn't call room service to bring a coffee at 5.30 in the morning! Also the room has sliding glass doors to the balcony but as we found, to our detriment, no handle or safety latch to stop from getting locked out on the balcony. Also you could not request an iron from reception but was encouraged to use their ironing service. While this could end up being expensive it also is inconvenient and not immediate. When on holiday I don't always know what I'm doing in the next hour so grabbing a dress to iron out the wrinkles for an impromptu night out is a regular occurrence .

The breakfast buffet was very good, with great variety of foods and also served until 10.30. The hotel itself is well kept and lots of interesting bits and pieces of furniture around lobby and halls . The lifts were quick and always working. The room was clean, comfortable and decent size. Cleaned and toiletries replenised everyday. The shower in the ensuite was powerful with hot water available at any time. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and easy access to toilet and restaurant facilities. The wellness center provides a great massage! There is an indoor pool but as the weather was good we did not use it. The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from harbour, restaurants and shops. It was restful and calm at night.

Massive hotel with nice rooms and free parking

    Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

This is a surprisingly large hotel - you'll get your steps in for the day just walking to your room and back! The underground car park is free and also massive. We parked near the entrance and then discovered it was a long walk to reception. And it was a long walk from here to the dining room. But the room (view over the pool) was large and had all the necessary facilities. It was only a short walk from the hotel into the centre of Tavira.

Location was great.Good underground parking for ebikes.Breakfast was great freshly cooked eggs to order.Bedvwas comfortable and quiet place to sleep.

Some of the reception staff lacked friendliness. Communication wasn't great - it would have been useful to have times for meals etc. written in the lifts or in the rooms. The water went off one afternoon and when it came back on, it ran brown. No information was provided by the hotel to advise guests of this. During the early part of the year, a lot of repairs and refurbishment happen which meant noise from a crane outside and a lot of cement dust in the car park. Again, there was no acknowledgement of this by the staff.

Good facilities and a nice sized room. The breakfast was very good. Staff at check-in were very helpful and let us leaveour bags securely as we arrivedin the morning, well before check-in time. It is a big hotel that caters well for groups. We asked for a kettle and cups and these were provided free of charge. There was a charge per day for use of the safe and for the car park.

The decor is looking a bit tired and dated....not always in the best condition. The breakfast was okay but nothing amazing. If the hotel was busier, it would have been louder inside the room.

We went in the off season so it was extremely quiet. It was excellent to go to the indoor pool with our kid and not really bother anyone. We did have to book a time as the indoor pool is located within the spa.

Spa is dreadful. Turkish Bath is a phone box size plastic lined box. Jacuzzi barely raises a bubble. Need to pay €4 for a bathing cap or not allowed to swim. V unfriendly spa staff. Doesn’t open till 10am. Closes 645pm so I had 15 minutes and was shown the door No fridge or kettle in room.

We were upgraded which was kind Restaurant v helpful to accommodate gluten free although no bread.
