  • The Cosy Cabin Review score: 9

“Loved being in the countryside rather than in town. Cosy, comfortable and clean, and great to be able to prepare simple meals. A lovely treat to have home-made bread and jam, butter, milk and sweet buns on arrival.”

  • Apartment 2, Pheonix Flats Review score: 10

“Location, facilities, layout of the flat”

  • “The unit was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quiet for sleeping, had a fully-equipped kitchen plus an en-suite bathroom complete with bathtub, a lovely view over the loch, clear access instructions, and helpful hosts. We really appreciated the welcome pack the hosts left for us with coffee pods, croissants, crisps, etc. As we stayed a week, it was very helpful to have our own laundry room. We liked the location for its convenience to hiking the Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, and Fairy Glen, plus restaurants in Portree and Uig. Peter and Marina were always available for anything we needed but left us in privacy to enjoy the space on our own. Really, one of the better places we've stayed in decades of traveling the world.”

  • 13 Matheson Place Review score: 10

“Great communication Location was perfect near a big supermarket, close to the centre of Portree and perfect for day trips. It was cozy, very relaxing stay and the little extras were appreciated.”

  • Isle Of Skye Camping Pods Review score: 8

“Comfortable, well equipped Pod - I had booked a Superior Double Pod - just a couple of miles outside Portree. Easy booking and check in. I stayed here for two nights but was rarely actually in the Pod as was out exploring. There was a seating area outside the Pod but the Midges were active. Plenty parking. The onsite Bar/ Restaurant appeared to be open until about. 21:00 but I didn’t use it.”

  • Poachers Bothy Review score: 10

  • Achalochan House Review score: 10

“The hosts, Sara and Simon, were extraordinarily kind and hospitable.”

  • Crannich Holiday Caravans Review score: 9

“What a peaceful haven from the mad, fast-paced word we live in. The peace and quiet were heaven sent. The surroundings green, full of songbird, environmentally friendly. The caravan itself clean and tidy woth a welcome cup of tea or coffee and Mull Oat biscuits. The owners friendly and informative. My only gripe: I didn't spend enough time on the site to explore fully!”

  • Arle Farmhouse Review score: 8

“V simple arrival ..Key and welcome letter were in the door on arrival. Place was easy to find with fantastic instructions how to get there . Location overlooking the Loch was superb. 10 mins to shops in either Tobermory or Salen was very handy as we were self catering. Indian and Fish n Chips shop in tobermory . Also Mcdougalls fish/burger bar in Salen Spacious dining room and spacious lounge area with comfortable sofas. If the weather was bad you would not be in each others way . Adequate safe parking for 3 cars right outside the property Fully equipped kitchen One Small shower/bath room and toilet”
