“Obviously the location and spa is the main draw here, it's amazing. The restaurant was fine, not a huge menu but we self catered for most of our meals. The house we stayed in (The Clubhouse) was nice, fitting 4 adults and 1 child very comfortably.”
“Everything! The spacious lofty appartment, the amenities included (perfectly equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, one with big bathtub and shower), the large window front offering unbeatable view across the harbour while relaxing on comfy sofas, the cleanliness, the near surrounding with walking path along the shore, walking distance to restaurants and shops; also close proximity to central Reykjavík (short car ride) - this appartment is more of a hidden jam, since it's a little off the capital's over touristy beaten path. We stayed three nights and would have loved to stay longer. We would always come back here.”
“- Close enough to Reykjavik centre (~20 minute drive).
- Parking was a breeze
- Christel was very helpful and gave us some great suggestions for our stay (Mosfellsbakarí was nice).
- Some nice walks in the local area (Álafoss waterfall is close to the apartment)
- TV was great and had Netflix
Would absolutely stay here again!”
“The host was very nice, plenty of parking lots, cleaned room. Since we were 5 and booked the breakfast just for 3 they were so kind to offer breakfast to the others 2!”
“Hotel Viking exceeded expectations. Full of authentic and tasteful vikingness! Staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous - the homemade waffles and maple syrup were to die for! My friend and I are vegetarian and there were plenty of delicious options. Location is perfect too, set just opposite the sea, it was really pretty. The bus station is a two minute walk away with the most efficient transport system I have ever experienced, you can get anywhere you need to be. Great location for walks and exploring and also various eateries nearby. Also very reasonably priced. Can't recommend highly enough!!”
